The decor is simple but clean. The staff was friendly and prompt. For the typical BBQ restaurant, it took longer to get our food... than I would expect. I had the Hawaiian pulled pork sandwich, my husband had the Ultimate burger and both were absolutely delicious. The cole slaw... side wasn?t mayo based, which I?ve never had like that before, and it was very good! The potato salad reminded me of mychildhood. Don't let the exterior fool you, there is amazing food here. Everything is homemade and delicious. The Caribbean Pork had so... much flavor it surprised me. The ribs and sauce were seasoned just right and they weren't too dry or too greasy. Definitely aplace I plan to visit again. Read more

Absolutely amazing, possibly the best food weve had from Fort Walton Beach. We haven't noticed this gem and have lived here for... 3 years. When a family member told us about it, we had to try it. I got La Place Ultimate Burger and oh my goodness. So manydifferent flavors. Best burger I've had. The wife got Hawaiian pulled pork, slightly sweet with pineapples and their sauce hasjust enough kick. The price was very fitting. We will definitely be back. Thank you guys for the great meal! La Place doesn't have a lot of seating available, but the food is on point. I got the half rack of ribs with potato salad for my... side. As you can see from the picture, the ribs are huge! I enjoyed La Place and might go there again. Read more

Probably the best hamburger I?ve ever had in my life! The ultimate burger was excellent, and enough for two meals for me.... Service was excellent and fast too! Friendly atmosphere! I wish I lived here so I could visit multiple times per week. Pro tip:wednesdays are $8 meal night. Read more
