Came for half price appetizers as advertised on big posters outside. After the meal I?m told ?I?m sorry, your appetizer doesn?t... qualify? and pointed some fine print on some menu card we weren?t even looking at. The waitress was great and the food didn't take too long. It was great that I could add a dozen shrimp for a dollar. The steak I... ordered was a bad cut and overdone on one side and underdone on the other. And the one end was thicker than the other so itwasn't possible for it to be done evenly. Very disappointed, my wife and I stopped in for a quick late lunch before going shopping at Walmart around 2pm. We were waiting... 5 min. before the Hostess even acknowledged us. Then there was a 15 to 20 min. wait even to sit in the bar. There didn?t seem tobe that many customers. We waited a bit then two more couples came in and got the same greeting. Dirty location, crumbs on the tables and trash the floor. Great service, but the food remains mediocre. We did the 2 for $30,... which used to be the 2 for $25... Inflation has been bad but I don't think that justified a 17% price hike. I had the bourbonstreet chicken and shrimp. It was flooded with oil, far more than needed to cook it, but the chicken was still on the edge ofundercooked. Lots of big mushrooms and plenty of onions, which were nice. The potatoes were two scoops and bland, not improvedby swimming in the excess oil in the skillet. My partner had a 6 oz sirloin, medium well, which was cooked correctly but lookeda little shrunken. She very much enjoyed the broccoli. The mixed food results, combined with the cleanliness, makes it difficultto recommend, despite the service. Read more
OMG Every thing I had was excellent. I had the blacken salmon. I submitted the green beans for the mashed potatoes. I also had... the spinach artichoke dip. I asked for the salmon medium and it was cooked to perfection. I would definitely have it again. Read more
