I ordered a Country Fried Steak w/ mashed potatoes & gravy with greens beans w/ham. First off my entire meal was between cool... and very lukewarm. Gravy was cold, potatoes were cold, meat looked like it had been laying there for quite sometime. My wife hada Fried Chicken Dinner. Again her potatoes, gravy was cold a the piece of chicken was smaller than small. We live under 5minutes from the restaurant, so our drive time to get home would not have caused the entire meal to be cold. Read more
My buddy was real excited about eating here for the first time. He was jazzed because he likes the microwaveable mashed... potatoes from the grocery store. We had breakfast. I think he wants to maintain the idea of the potatoes he has in his headversus actually experiencing them. Great service! Read more
There was a group of 9 of us for lunch on the day we visited. Our server was fantastic, friendly and quick. Our food arrived... surprisingly fast, especially give the size of our group and it was good for the most part. I got the country steak with mashedpotatoes, gravy and green beans. It was mediocre and thr potatoes borderline cold. Also, a couple people got the tuna saladfruit plate. The cantaloupe was disappointing as it was sliced super thin and was floppy. My wife and I enjoy eating here. For the most part the service is good. The food quality is good. What I like about the servers... is they'll take some time to get to know you. Variety is somewhat limited pertaining to food items. If you like country you'lllike eating here, they have the whole Hog. Read more
