Could the burger be any flatter? If I hadn't seen the server carrying the plates separately I would've thought they stacked the... other plates on top of it. 0???? for presentation, but 5 ???? for flavor. My daughter's bacon was way over cooked, the homefries were barely warm and the scrambled eggs were salty. The pot roast was salty as well. Not sure why so much salt tonight,but it was there. Taylor was our server. She was super nice and really took care of us. She deserves a better kitchen supportingher. Read more
I would give the waitress we had 5 stars because she was the only one working today around 3 o'clock. However the manager who... was cashing out and not really caring about clearing off tables was like oh it's not usually this busy.. The female managershould have been out there clearing the tables and helping this 1 waitress who was doing the best she could with the numeroustables that were in that place today. The waitress even had her teenage daughter working to help her while the manager didn'tgive a rat's butt about anything other than being a manager. Read more
This place is hit and miss. Sometimes it's great with food being hot and served quickly with great service and other times it's... the exact opposite. Long waits to be seated because hostess is no where around, cold food or waitress never comes around tocheck on you/refill coffee. The last visit I had was last week and half of my food was cold. Upon paying the bill the hostessasked me how everything was so I was honest. She asked if I'd like to speak to a manager about it and I said sure. Toldmanager that it's terrible paying $15 for breakfast when half the food was served cold. She took over half of my bill which wasappropriate. I really wish they would fix this issue though. I like eating there but I refuse to pay for cold food. Read more
My first time at a Bob Evans, even though I've seen them all over the Midwest. I thought it was exclusively for the blue-haired... retired crowd. I was mistaken. It is similar to a Perkins or an IHOP mixed with a Crackle Barrel, but veryMidwest/farm/family-centric. I enjoyed my sandwich. Food was very reasonably priced, especially in these crazy times. Servicewas prompt and attentive. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. It was a great road trip lunch. Worth going to others inthe chain. Read more
Curbside means the store brings the order to the customer?s vehicle. If the store is not going to honor curbside delivery, then... contact corporate headquarters and remove the option to order curbside. The store?s staffing issues are not my problem. If thestore had a drive-thru, and the store informed the customer to come inside and pick the order up, then what is the purpose ofdrive-thru? Likewise, curbside is exactly the service, as a convenience to the customer. Why should I come inside the store? I don?t get paid to deliver the order to my vehicle. Some would say you?re making too much out of nothing. Well, that isn?tthe point. It?s the principle of Bob Evans providing a service, and not providing the service to the customer upon arrival. Additionally, refusing to answer the phone, to facilitate the customer?s order, isn?t going to work either. Not to mention, thestore hung up twice as the calls were placed to retrieve my order. Eventually, enough was enough, and I left the store, withoutmy order. I too, can prove a point. I will contact corporate and report the issue, and pursue further action, to resolve thematter. My Wife and I were in there for breakfast on Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. My Wife had the Chicken Salad Fruit... Plate. She enjoyed it but it appears that it was incomplete. According to the advertising photo, there were a couple of fruititems missing. As I previously stated, she really enjoyed it, so we ordered it again on Sunday morning. Only this time weordered it for pick up. Can anyone tell me why the to go portion size is significantly smaller than when we dined there? Thiswas very disappointing. Read more
We ordered 3 dinners, two of which were correct, The 3rd was a deep dish chicken dinner and this meal was missing pretty much... all the noodles. I counted 9 noodles total It was very dissapointing especially with the cost of the dinner. We also orderedrolls and they put biscuits in place of the rolls Read more
They were short staffed like most restaurants these days but they work as a team to help customers. Love their chicken noodle... soup! My order was low calorie as well as low priced (under $9) minus the tip ???? Read more
