It used to be a good place to eat but it's worsened in the past year. My favorite dish is not available any longer and dishes... I've had instead are poorer quality. Tonight 8/12/22 was my husband and I date night ???? Also our first time ever trying this restaurant. Upon arrival we were... seated immediately. Our waitress was nice and helpful with answering our questions. Unfortunately the restaurant was not veryclean we quickly noticed.. starting with the silverware having crusted food on the fork???? We ordered our meals, a house saladand a 1/2 order of cheese bread. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo with an add on of shrimp. The Alfredo honestly tasted like flourmixed with cream. Like a thick paste with no flavor. The shrimp was over cooked and seemed to be poor quality.. also no flavor.They were also very small and the price was $8.00 for 6 tiny shrimp. ??????????? Our salad was soggy and not edible. Anotherdisappointment was the over priced soggy sandwich bread with butter and a sprinkle of cheese melted on top. It was a 1/2 orderand was 2 prices of bread that seemed like it could have been store bought from the bread isle. The tiramisu was ok and so wasthe turtle cheesecake. They were both pretty small portions for the price as well. We constantly had to swat away Gnats andFlies from our food.. which was annoying and also made us wonder why there were so many ???? we were right by the kitchen.. notsure what was spoiled in there but we kept smelling a over ripe/ rotting produce smell. Which made us not able to finish dinnerand ask for to go boxes and the check.. Date night was not a pleasant experience here at Casa.. unfortunately $80.00 wasted & Wewon't ever be back. Known more for authentic Italian food, Casa also does pies. Ordered carry out over the phone, attendant was very friendly and... helpful. $10.99 btw. On to the review. The pizza: Napoli, assuming this is their neapolitan pizza. Pizza was a little messy inthe box, but presentation doesn't dictate taste. Cheese: Not what I expected, it lacked in overall cheese flavor, but hints ofparmesan and mozzarella were there, definitely not a heavy cheese flavor pizza. Sauce: Lots and lots of sauce, almost too much?Makes the cheese float around as you try to bite off pieces. However the flavor was good, hints of Italian spices, onion, richfresh tomato. Crust: Looked like it was cooked throughly, however was a little floppy. Personal preference is a pizza that staystogether and supports itself and doesn't flop everywhere. I've had this pizza from here before, and it was much better. Thinner,crisper crust, more evenly baked, heavier on cheese, touch less sauce. Our waitress was the best ever! I think her name was Ashley. She answered all our questions about old favorites that aren't on... the menu. She said we could still get them and was so patient with our crazy table of four friends. And of course the food wasgreat as always! Read more
