Our second visit here, thought we should give it another try, as our first visit was several years ago. Ate in the bar, waited... too long for cocktails, excuse was bartender in kitchen for food. Calamari was limp and flavorless. Had Alfredo andCarbanaro?.both had no flavor, if they did they were the same sauce. Not Good!!l Felt gritty and left a film on the roof of ourmouths. It was a half way meeting point of us and it was a great choice. The service was very good and so was the food. The waitress... made great recommendations and pointed us the right direction based on dietary restrictions and taste preferences. The onlygrumble i had about lunch was there was too much salad dressing for me, but i dont tend to like my salads swimming in dressing. We got the lunch portions, and they were still huge! I thought that i would give it a try, as it seemed to be a local favorite. The food lacked the richness that Italian food... should have. My dessert tasted as if it had been frozen for weeks. I was greatly disappointed. The food was inexpensive but asthe saying goes, "you get what you pay for." The highlight of my meal was my sparkling water. The silver lining however was myamazing waitress! She was so professional, with just the right amount of sociability, and attentiveness. She is the reason forthe stars.
