Our second visit here, thought we should give it another try, as our first visit was several years ago. Ate in the bar, waited... too long for cocktails, excuse was bartender in kitchen for food. Calamari was limp and flavorless. Had Alfredo andCarbanaro?.both had no flavor, if they did they were the same sauce. Not Good!!l Felt gritty and left a film on the roof of ourmouths. It was a half way meeting point of us and it was a great choice. The service was very good and so was the food. The waitress... made great recommendations and pointed us the right direction based on dietary restrictions and taste preferences. The onlygrumble i had about lunch was there was too much salad dressing for me, but i dont tend to like my salads swimming in dressing. We got the lunch portions, and they were still huge! I thought that i would give it a try, as it seemed to be a local favorite. The food lacked the richness that Italian food... should have. My dessert tasted as if it had been frozen for weeks. I was greatly disappointed. The food was inexpensive but asthe saying goes, "you get what you pay for." The highlight of my meal was my sparkling water. The silver lining however was myamazing waitress! She was so professional, with just the right amount of sociability, and attentiveness. She is the reason forthe stars. This was an amazing recommendation! We are always looking for great Italian food, and Casa did not disappoint! We both had the... chicken parm, and I ended up bringing home enough for another meal! Great place to eat in Fort Wayne, IN. Casa Restorante is on our must stop list next time we visit Fort Wayne, IN. Sharon was... our server. Between her expertise, the great food, and the nice ambiance our dining experience was the best! We came later inthe evening and the place was still very busy but the three of us were seated very quickly. We were blessed to have Sharon asour server, she was the best at accommodating us and offering advice on the choices. All in all it was our best diningexperience so far on our visit to Fort Wayne.
