My wonderful husband took me for my choice of places to eat as my birthday dinner. We were taken immediately to table in the... lounge. Olivia came to our table and greeted us as soon as we were seated and got our drink order. She came back with the drinksand we ordered right away. My husband and I decided to have dinner here spur of the moment. I had not been here in a while, and my husband had never eaten... here. We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated immediately. Our server Troy was courteous and attentive. My husbandenjoyed the prime rib and I had the chicken herb. I //never// order chicken, but I?m so glad I did. It was incredible. We willdefinitely return. An excellent overall experience. I ordered the ribeye with the jalapeno mac and cheese. The steak was perfectly cooked to my... request, med rare, and was full of flavor. The mac and cheese was good but the flavor was a little lacking. The service here istop notch. Our waitress was kind and attentive and we never felt like we were waiting for anything. The interior has a veryrustic and classy feel to it. With historical photos on the walls and older style furniture. Not sure I can say enough about our experience at Don Hall's! From fantastic service to absolutely wonderful food. Prime rib... that was tender and juicy, lobster that melted in your mouth, fresh warm bread, the best blue cheese dressing on a wedge saladand that was just my meal! My husband was adventurous and tried the pecan cream cheese stuffed chicken with raspberry sauce andwas in heaven, so amazing, ribs that fell off the bone! Our waitress was the friendliest server and knew the menu forward andbackwards! It was our first time there and we will for sure return if we are up that direction again!
