A few coworkers and I went here to pick up a phone order. The food was done on time, was hot and fresh, was to order and was... delicious. I was very impressed when I visited Mr Coney for the first time last year. I've been back twice since then and they didn't fail... to impress me with each visit. Their coney dogs are clearly superior to the other popular downtown coney restaurant. Mr. Coneyactually puts some grill marks on their coney dogs and they are thoroughly cooked through. Service all times was superior, withfast and friendly service. The restaurant is very well kept up and clean. The only thing I would skip is adding any kind ofcheese to the French fries. On my last visit I added the jalapeno cheese which just ended up being a soggy mess. Otherwisewithout the cheese the fries would have been perfectly hot. No other complaints here. I will be back and more of a regularcustomer as my diet allows. Read more
Definitely last resort for conies. They were still open for another half hour and we got burnt food. By the time we got home... and realized, they were already closed. Honestly felt like they served sub-par food because they figured we wouldn't be able tocall and request new food. Oh, and the ones in the picture that don't look burnt are burnt on the bottom. Add to that thesauce seemed to be everywhere except inside the dogs. Also, no bundle pricing unlike some coney spots. So, instead of gettinga break on like a dozen or two dozen you pay full price for meh food. Read more
Our coney dogs and fries were AWFUL! Fries were all small pieces and very hard! Coney dogs had very little coney sauce on all of... them and only one small spot of mustard and the onions were very hot tasting! We will Never come here again! I actually givethis 0 stars. Read more
