We had a superb meal at Paula's. The sashimi tuna appetizer was lightly seared with sesame seeds and black pepper along side a... veggie slaw, wasabi, ginger and soy. The blackened swordfish was perfectly cooked, the horseradish was light a greataccompaniment to the swordfish and chive mashed potatos. My husband had the cioppino special. When you want a fantastic seafood dinner... not many people would think of traveling to Ft. Wayne, but it would be a mistake to... miss Paula's on Main. I've eaten here twice and had fantastic seafood dishes both times, this is definitely a must stop if youare nearby, or make it a roadtrip. So as soon as you walk in, it a fish market and I loved that. From there you walk into a very nice dare I say elegant restaurant... but by no means stuffy. From the drinks( ok the bloody Mary looked and the food part tasted) much better than the drink itself. My husband loved the beer recommended by our waitress....to the food and dessert. Read more
We made reservations and were sat immediately. Our food and drinks were delicious and our service was amazing! We went for my... birthday dinner on Friday July 29th. Our server brought me a piece of pie with the most amazing message on it (picture). Mynow fiancé had worked with Paula's staff to create an amazing and special moment for us. They did it flawlessly and even tooka video for us to look back on. I would recommend them a million times over for how great they were! Read more

House salad - Excellent Oysters - were wonderful I haven't had them in a long time. Clam chowder - omg it was just fabulous... large pieces of clam! I highly recommend this for a romantic evening. Phenomenal first time experience, became one of my favorite places in Fort Wayne. Our server was a delight and entertaining.... Their custom drinks are up to par and I has two of them (my favorite was named something with "Mermaid"). Their swordfish steaktastes as good as the ones I've had down in Florida, and thus was pretty impressed. And to top the evening off, as much as Iloved the swordfish, their key lime pie was absolutely my favorite of the evening. Generous layer of cool whip and delightfullytart lime center. Overall 10/10 experience, highly recommend multiple visits to explore the menu. Read more
