I dined her with my colleagues and absolutely enjoyed the meal, service, and ambiance. The staff was very friendly and the... dishes were really authentic and made from scratch. We especially enjoyed the Mushroom Esbeche, and the vegan mushroom Barbacoa.The food was little pricey but was worth the quality. To top it all, drinks were really delish too! Proximo is a great place for brunch. They have a nice menu with a lot of variety. I highly recommend the breakfast tacos and... getting four different proteins. The staff is very friendly and this is a scratch kitchen, so most meals can be customized toyour liking or needs. They have outdoor seating that is great for those summer morning brunches. Read more
Very good lunch. More than par. I would go so far as to call it "yummy". Very clean, well lit and smartly appointed... spaces. Might have been the time of day but there was no hostess at the station for many minutes and I had to take matters intomy own hands with the bartender. All ended well without too much fuss but.. I waited to do a review for this place because my first experience was so absolutely ridiculous that I wanted to make sure it... wasn't a fluke. After eating here more than a few times I spent today eating brunch to see where it stands on my breakfast list.I can now say without a doubt this is my favorite restaurant of all time. I have eaten and done hundreds of reviews on Googleand this one after ten years of reviews is the best. The staff is absolutely amazing, the chef is freaking ridiculously good andthe management cares. The best part is everything is made from scratch and you can tell. I will be eating here on a regularbasis. Also bonus tip: The smoked Old Fashioned is absolutely the best I've ever had in my life. We went for lunch on the patio and we were blown away. We went in expecting it to be good and it was even better. Our waitress... (who was also waiting on the bar. She killed it.) Was great, sweet, attentive. The drinks were great. The food was phenomenal.They were definitely different, but I suggest getting out of your comfort zone. Proximo is top notch all the way around. We enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits and Risotto with Halibut. Both dishes were phenomenal... and loaded with such flavor. The service was also great and knowledgeable. For appetizer we had grilled leeks with chorizo andromesco sauce, another winner. We will definitely be back again.
