There are many choices competing for your Sushi dollars in Fort Wayne but you will find few that are as satisfying as Sakura on... West Jefferson. Sushi is okay, but worst yakitori I?ve been ever had. The chicken didn?t taste like it was grilled. It was over cooked chicken... chunks that were so dry and tough, I couldn?t get them off the skewer. And definitely not enough for the price. It was just twoof these measly skewers. For $7. Sushi is absolutely delicious! Fresh, top notch quality ingredients and service is exceptional! Wife and I went for my birthday... 30 mins before closing (unintentionally) and the only customers dining. We did not share this with the staff. Absolutely one of the BEST restaurants in Fort Wayne. The atmosphere is wonderful, the wait staff are always spot on, and the... food is consistently prepared fresh and extremely well. We've eaten here every other week or so for the past 4-5 years andhaven't had a bad experience or food yet. **I took an out-of-town friend for lunch to Sakura today (11-16-21), and not much haschanged since I originally wrote this review. This place was impeccable! The service was beyond amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so comfortable and warm. And the... food!!! ???????????? The miso soup, salad, sushi sampler is what we started with. Best I've ever had. I could eat that soup allday. The Rainbow roll and the bento box were our main meal. Hands down the best in Fort Wayne. We are definitely going back assoon as possible. And it didn't cost an arm and a leg to eat amazing sushi! Read more

This place has such an amazing atmosphere and caring staff. My boyfriend accidentally ordered the wrong meal and didn't realize... it until he received the food. He asked the server about it and the server offered to swap it out for what he actually wanted.We didn't want to bother them, but upon the 3rd offer my boyfriend accepted it and they made sure to check on us several timesto ensure we were having a good experience.
