The barista's are all very nice and professional but the price increase is just laughable and no longer affordable. Support... local shops rather than corporate chains, considering the price difference is often times better! Read more

Just a heads up- if they are out of the brew that you ordered (ex. Pike Place) they will literally put a different type in your... cup than you ordered. I watched a barista put a ?dark? in my cup after realizing the ?pike? was all out. If I?m going to paythis price for coffee I at least want what I ordered. Edit in response- I told the barista I saw exactly what she did. She thentold me, ?that?s our dark roast for the day ?. I then turned the cup around so she could once again look at the tag that stated?pike place? in large print on the top. She then offered to remake it. I took the offer and said nothing else. I then left withmy coffee. The point, she knew exactly what she did (see first part of my comment), but played ?innocent?. Next time, just tellme you are out of the brew and offer another instead of trying to give me a decaf or dark. Read more

I prefer other cafés or coffee houses to Starbucks, when in a pinch I will go there, the café I worked, the owner was trained... in one of California's first Starbucks. He told me some of their secrets to roasting. Truth be told, Starbucks is an overpriced, under quality coffee and a poor café environment. So, I give them 2.5 out of 5 stars, since it is a whole rating, Igive them 2 stars and that is generous. Read more

Waited in drive thru line about 15 minutes. They weren?t slow to take orders they just were slow to make them. Can?t rush... perfection? I get it. The car in front of me ordered their Carmel Macchiato and pulled forward (I guess) and I could get all theway up to order. When they finally were able to move the line I got to the speaker and was told it was 6:30 and they close at6:30. I explained I was the last car in line and I had been waiting for a long time. My car said 6:28 and my phone 6:29?.. Theysaid I?m sorry we are closed. If they would?ve moved 30 seconds faster they could?ve taken my order or done the human thing andtaken my order. I get the same drink EVERY time. Becca always seems to take care of me. She is so sweet!, All the baristas are..but Becca is my... favorite. As a manager that is in the retail industry It is very hard to come by great customer service. Becca should definitelybe rewarded for her outstanding service she provides. There?s been many days where I just was having the absolute worst and shealways seems to turn my day around. She?s such a great ray of sunshine. This is without a doubt my Starbucks home!! Read more
