We really love this place and most of the food we've gotten here is great! The fries are so good and most recently I got the... popper chicken sandwich and it was amazing. My husband got the jumbo wings on Wednesday (wing night) and we were not impressed.They looked great but were dry and not much flavor. On a recent visit to Fort Wayne our daughter took us to Ted's Beerhall for dinner. We'd never been there before and anything... named "beerhall" is something that's right up my alley. When we entered we were asked if we needed a reservation (I didn'tanticipate that, but you never know), but they accommodated us easily. It was a Saturday dinner, but they weren't so busy as tonot have a spare table or two. The restaurant is large and somewhat cathedral-like, with vaulted ceilings and exposed rafters. One end is a stage and the other is the bar. They have 15 beers on tap. Jim (that's me!) opted for a flight of 4...but itended up being 5. The menu isn't enormous, but it's well-suited to the venue, focusing on burgers and pizza with a goodselection of soups, salads, and starters. My wife had a burger, our daughter had a quesadilla, and I wanted a pizza butdidn't want to look like I wanted a whole pizza. My compromise was to get the ?New? Mexi Teds pizza *as* a calzone. That wayif I eat the entire thing I won't look like a monster for eating a calzone when it's basically a pizza folded in half. And itwas DEELICIOUS. Our server was Jess and she was awesome. She was friendly, offered up good suggestions, and didn't mind takinga few minutes to converse. The staff here is constantly on the move. No one standing around holding up a counter. Whetherthey're taking care of customers, stocking something, or cleaning something, every single employee we saw was rockin'. They doa nifty thing here with their retired beer tap handles. They mount them on an area of the ceiling. (see award-winning photo,attached). They also have the current beer menu rotating on a few screens, with the 5 most recent UnTappd checkins shown acrossthe bottom. Listen, we haven?t been to Teds in probably 2 months, and today we came back. Before that, we were regulars and I always got cat... beers. Today, after 2 months of not coming, Taylor immediately remembered us and my weird thing for trying cat beers andrecommended the Great Cats-Bee. Give that girl a raise!
