I love this bakery! Sometimes you just need an awesome cookie or cupcake, and when you are a vegan in Arlington there are not a... lot of options. I was so happy when Planted opened up a couple years ago. Now it?s a just a quick drive to Fort Worth to satisfymy sweet tooth. They have fantastic breads, savory items like the pizza rolls, cookies, cakes, cruffins, croissants andpastries. When I go I get a little of everything and everything is always fantastic. Literally the best baked goods ever, vegan or not. I stop in every time I work in the area and plan on one cupcake, but then... leave with boxes of stuff. We also catered my birthday brunch with tons of amazing yummy stuff. It was a hit! People kept askingif I was sure it was vegan lol!!!! I?ve been vegan for about three years now. I?ve always loved a sweet treat, but the options in Tarrant county for vegan treats... is slim. I was so excited when Planted opened. The owners and staff are so friendly and welcoming and all the treats are sodelicious and all vegan! My favorite so far is probably the almond butter chocolate dipped cookie and the seasonal pumpkincookie. They also have lunch type items now, and they offer a whole Thanksgiving meal for purchase too! I haven?t had thepleasure of trying one of their cakes, but you can order those too for any occasion. Went for my first time yesterday and got kolaches, cheese danishes, pepperoni pizza rollups, and a breakfast burrito rollup. We... had the kolaches as soon as we left and they were really good! Today we woke up and had the cream cheese danishes and they wereamazing as well! I wish I had taken pictures of what we got before we scarfed it all down! I'm dairy free and have been dying for some semblance... of normalcy. I'm SO glad I found Planted! The Oreo chocolate cupcake was our favorite followed closely by the strawberryshortcake cupcake. The rosemary loaf of bread is SO good and I can't wait to make a sandwich with it. Absolutely love this place. I love their baked goods so much, I go weekly to get their goodies for the weekend. They usually... have something new they are trying out (please do more cheesecake) and it?s fun to try whatever they have come up with. Fairprice and delicious food. Read more
