By far the best BBQ I've had in a long time. We ordered the baked potato with meat, chopped brisket to be exact and we ordered... the two meat plate with ribs, brisket, green beans and BBQ beans. Absolutely amazing! The peach cobbler didn't disappoint eitherand the drinks were a great size too. Will definitely be coming back. Now for a nap! Lol Read more
Bullfrog is bbq, which is good, but hubby and grandson got burgers, which were outstanding! Also a mountain of fresh french... fries and an icy beer each left them unable to tackle the homemade peach cobbler. Too bad, guys, it was very tasty! Read more
I want to start off by first saying that the employees at the restaurant were very friendly and nice people. I had absolutely no... trouble with them and they took care of me. But unfortunately, the food was just pretty regular tasting but the price wasthrough the roof. I could not believe how expensive it was and I did not know this going in. There seems to be a group ofregular customers that enjoy coming in and having a few drinks and talking amongst each other and with the employees. It seemedlike a really nice environment for hanging out and enjoying yourself. But the hamburger meat did not taste like anythingspecial and in fact it needed some salt. I can't recall ever needing to put salt on a hamburger at a restaurant but I did inthis case. And the hamburger was just very bland tasting even with the toppings on it. What shocked me the most though was justhow expensive it was for a simple meal. I think it was a little over $15 for the hamburger and then I'm not really sure what thefrench fries cost. But then the soda, which is a fountain machine you use yourself with a plastic, Pizza Hut type cup you canfill and refill I believe was $3.50. I wasn't really sure what to expect since I had not been into the restaurant since it waspreviously owned years ago by someone else. It's probably been 10 years since I had been into it. I think they serve barbecueand I wish I had tried it. But I was trying to eat fast and cheaply and I was only successful at one of those. Nothing tastedextra good and it really tasted subpar compared to other places of similar price I've been to. The staff did get my order rightthough and that is a plus. Nowadays, that seems to be so uncommon in most places that I do think it's worth mentioning that theydid prepare things just the way I ordered them. We are regulars at Bullfrogs, they have great food! Best cheese burgers around. You have to try their green chili cheese burger... - wonderful! The BBQ is delicious as well !! It's one of our favorite places to eat as a family. The owner makes my youngest afresh cup of his peach tea! Very relaxed, casual atmosphere and they even do to go orders as well ! Read more
