You know what really chaps my a$$ is when places charge extra for stuff, then don't give it to you when you order it. I ordered... the 3 meat combo. It comes with a dinner roll. I paid .50 cents extra to get ONE piece of Texas Toast instead. Didn't receivethe toast. I ordered and paid for extra pickles and I literally got 8 extra pickle slices. Not pickle spears, just hamburgerslices. Then I ordered Jalapeno Beans and they sent me BBQ Beans. I like Dickey's. However, if they can't get the take outorders correct, I might have to change my BBQ place of choice. Craving a bit of barbecue with the family, we decided to stop in for a quick bite. I'm really not a fan of the layout of this... particular Dickey's as the counter has a wall between you and the food where you struggle to see what's happening on the otherside. We all ordered lean brisket. About half of us got that, while the other half got about 60% fatty pieces with very littlemeat. The rolls were dry and seemed almost stale even though we were there around noon. Customer service was lacking. The guycutting the meat at least could carry on some sort of conversation, but the rest of the crew hardly spoke a word to any of us. Dickeys has a sports bar!!!???? $2 draft beer???? $3 Margaritas ???? Delicious food! Great service! Love this place! Who doesn?t... love beer & bbq? This restaurant has it all. We got a coupon in the mail and came in to try this restaurant. We were pleasantlysurprised. What a great set up! This is the only Dickey?s in the area that I know of that has a sports bar built-in. We got thesmoked chicken wings. They were delicious. I don?t normally think of chicken wings at a barbecue place but they were great. Theribs are fantastic and my favorite. Read more
I love Dickey?s barbecue, all the meats are cook to perfection! I love the flavor! This is a pretty new location, it is a small... location but it?s got everything you need! It?s nice and modern with a great view! The staff was very friendly and helpful andthey were super fast! They also have a small bar area with several draft beers! They have a drive-tru as well! I asked for lean sliced brisket, creamy spinach & Mac & cheese. Two out of three ain't bad but I specifically asked for lean.... You get one opportunity and the person on the block failed miserably. Love the location. Close to the Heritage and Alliance neighborhoods. Food seems consistently good. Brisket is moist with a fat... cap. Trim off if you don't like it. Prices are competitive with other bbq options. My main gripe is on the service. Simple drivethru orders are getting entered incorrectly. This diminishes this establishment greatly. I hope the owners will address withproper training. Read more
Dickey?s is your average kinda BBQ place. It?s usually good enough when you want a quick BBQ fix. My expectations are never... high, so disappointment is real disappointment. On this particular trip, I ordered the brisket plate. The brisket was servedrather cold, and it was way overcooked. To get a bite, I actually had to use a knife. It was hard to chew and verydisappointing. I find that some Dickey?s locations are better than others. This one is not one of the better ones. I can?trecommend it. Read more
