I?ve been to Jakes on 2 occasions and both times the food was delicious! I got a patty melt the first time which was really good... with the sauce that they use. The second time I got the breakfast burger which is 10/10. The sweet potato fries are my favorite!They also have gluten free bun option which is really nice! Definitely recommend this place. Stopped in for happy hour and stayed for dinner! Nice selection of local microbrews and great range of unique margaritas! Very... tasty and generous pours on the mixed drinks. Food was fast, crispy, and tasty?I had the chicken fried and tots and appreciatedthe spicy breading as a unique twist on a classic favorite. Here now for breakfast (see pics). Coffee was great... Better than most breakfast joints in TX, in my opinion. Can't complain... about the 'Traditional' breakfast I had, except the bacon was a little lame. My wife had the Avocado Toast, which she said wasvery good.
