I?ve been to Jakes on 2 occasions and both times the food was delicious! I got a patty melt the first time which was really good... with the sauce that they use. The second time I got the breakfast burger which is 10/10. The sweet potato fries are my favorite!They also have gluten free bun option which is really nice! Definitely recommend this place. Stopped in for happy hour and stayed for dinner! Nice selection of local microbrews and great range of unique margaritas! Very... tasty and generous pours on the mixed drinks. Food was fast, crispy, and tasty?I had the chicken fried and tots and appreciatedthe spicy breading as a unique twist on a classic favorite. Chris sat our party of four right away for Sunday morning breakfast giving suggestions and a warm welcome! Beautifully crafted... juice blend was a knock out of there park. When the food arrived, there was nothing but deliciousness, the whole table over!From a pancake kids plate to an absolutely flavor punched giant plate of French toast, and two Traditional orders cooked toperfection! I was staying across the street from Jake's and wanted to eat something from nearby that I could take back to my hotel room. I... was able to order online and picked up my order shortly after. Here now for breakfast (see pics). Coffee was great... Better than most breakfast joints in TX, in my opinion. Can't complain... about the 'Traditional' breakfast I had, except the bacon was a little lame. My wife had the Avocado Toast, which she said wasvery good. If you haven't been to Jake's, give it a try, you won't regret it. :) Read more
