I decided to leave a review before I left because OMG! I finally found my chilaquiles place. The chilaquiles awakened feelings I... didn?t even know I had. They were soul touching lol and reminded me of my grandma?s. They had the perfect amount of everythingand not too spicy. The rice and beans were also great but baybee the cafe de olla was top notch. I sat there sipping on it whileI waited for my main course, hoping the chilaquiles would be just as good, and it did not disappoint. Service was courteous andfast as well. Highly recommend this place. I only had the chilaquiles but all the plates that I saw the waitresses carry lookedfire. Read more

After a fun Saturday night, waking up this morning with only one thing in mind, a great Mexican breakfast. A quick search with... keyword menudo, and here I went. The ratings were very accurate. The chip and salsa came out first. I took a picture of thesalsa because it was very evident it was made fresh, as were the chips. Imperfect cuts, flaky but still crisp, not overlysalted. The coffee came out some after. Another picture of that my server asked if I wanted regular coffee or Mexican. I choseregular coffee but it wasn't regular at all. Tasted like French press coffee, smooth but stout and I enjoyed it throughout themeal. I ordered my typical favorite, Huevos Rancheros and a bowl of menudo. The green salsa had some kick which was perfect. Themenudo was all meat, no hominy. I like it either way but this morning, the protein load was welcomed. In all, a wonderfulbreakfast, clean dining area, and great service. Read more

This was my wife and I's first time. We've had a hard time finding an authentic Mexican restaurant that was decent in this area.... First off, it's a small cozy place, clean and well taken care of for a small place in this area. I ordered agua de sandia ????and my wife ordered horchata, we both liked our drinks and the cup was huge. The chips were ok, the salsa was pretty good... Notspicy but good flavor. My wife ordered Sopas of each type of meat.. She liked them better than some other local places. Iordered mole enchiladas. They were delicious, not like moms or my wife's but the best I've eaten besides moms. The service wasprompt and friendly. We will definitely be back to try more on the menu. Read more

The food is really good! We had the Molé Enchiladas, Flautas, Chíli Relleno and the bean and cheese kid?s meal. Everything was... good the only thing was that the Chíli Relleno was somewhat soggy because they it wasn?t fried properly. It was flavorful butsoggy. We don?t recommend it unless that?s how you like them. Everything else was wonderful. The service is really great and wewill definitely be back! Read more

Great food! Very authentic! I don't get the chance to eat Mole that much. This was great. Next time I'll try the Milanesa!

This place is authentic as it gets! I was in the Hulen area and was looking for a place to eat. I?m really not a breakfast... person so I was happy to hear they serve more than breakfast so early in the morning. First of all when I called the lady whoanswered the phone sounded extra nice! She recommended the enchiladas de mole. Just in case I order green ones as well. I wasthere in less than 10 min and she already had my food ready. The place was empty but she still wore her face mask. Not that Icared but I know how some of y?all are with the whole Covid thing. The lady at the restaurant was great! She was proud of herfood. That?s when you know it?s gonna be good. Before leaving I peeked at the food and it looked great. My review on the food:I?m always looking for authentic Mexican food because I?m not a fan of tex mex. This place is legit! I was really surprisedbecause of the neighborhood it?s in. The chicken mole enchiladas had crema and white cheese. I knew this place was authentic bythe mole. It taste just like the enchiladas from my home state of Zacatecas. A little spicy and sweet. Warning if you are notinto sweet sauces these enchiladas are not for you. I however loved them. You can smell dry peppers. Reminded me of Mexico. Eventhe green enchiladas were great. You can smell the tomatillos. ????. EVERYTHING was great. My baby loved the beans and rice andthe salsa although it needed a little salt was also good. If you love aguas naturales like I do get them here. I got the mangoone and it was definitely from scratch. It had mango pieces in it. So glad I found this place. Everything from the service tothe food was great! I will definitely be a regular here.
