I absolutely love this hole in a wall Italian joint. The ambiance is dark with cute red candles on the table, I love the vibe.... Everytime I come here with my family the food and service are excellent. Tonight we arrived at 930 and we're greeted immediatelyand we're waited on by the chef, he was wonderful btw very attentive,kind, you could tell he cared and took pride in what hedid. We always aim for the sampler platter and share that, a nice crisp fresh salad beforehand with house dressing sets it offfor starters. We ordered the lobster dip which was delicious and very rich. I had lasagna that came with a huge dinner salad. I was not able to finish my lasagna from being full from the salad. It was all... great, only minor issue was the long wait for our food and it's really dark inside. Other than that it was great. Read more

Lobster augratin was as thin as water. Otherwise, the food was ok. We were there just before dusk and as it got dark outside, it... got dark in the restaurant. We asked them if they could turn on some lights because we couldn't even see our food but thewaitstaff said the owner says "it's Italian, it's supposed to be like that". We had a party of about 8 and got 5 dinners at onetime then a good 30 minutes later before the other 3 came out and one of them was cold. Our waitress was unusually bad, not sureif she was new or what but entertaining took much longer than normal. We've eaten here many times over the last several yearsand it's always been outstanding. Very good food. Busy place so relax and expect a little wait between courses. Pizza was the best I have had... anywhere......loved the Artichoke and Brie dip.......friend said the Chicken Picatta was good....husband had the Samplerplatter......he loved it. Read more

I would like to say the service was terrible but there was no service at all to rate. We arrived, bartender told us to sit... wherever we liked and then we spent the next 20min just waiting for anyone to come to our table to no avail. We could hear awaitress serving other tables but never came to ours and there was no one to flag. Please don?t waste your time like I did. Getyour Italian food fix somewhere else. Read more

The staff was tremendously courteous and the food was wonderful. The portions were extremely generous, and the atmosphere is... simultaneously Italian and Texan. It just feels like being home with family, perhaps because that's how things are run. I'lldefinitely be back. Thanks for a fantastic dinner!
