Worst customer service ever! From the moment we walked in hostess is rude n unfriendly we ordered chicken strips for my grandson... and they were disgusting and smlled bad we told the waitress i which she proceeded to say the freezer they were kept i had ufroze and then they put them back in and refroze them, I was floored couldnt beleieve she would even tell a patron this and evenserve this after all that that should have been trashed? all around it was just a horrible experience from the moment we walkedin starting with the hostess!!!! We have been to most of the Fort Worth area Mexican Inn restaurants throughout the 60+ years that we have lived in Fort Worth. ... The food is consistently good, the service is good as well, but I will focus on one complaint about the 8th Ave. location. Theiced tea is made with tap water. That may not be a big deal to many but when you are charged close to $3 for a glass of tea, itshould be good brewed tea with filtered water. If you have never been to Mexican Inn, don't let this review keep you away. Their corn tortillas are made fresh and are amazing. They are known for their chips that are also made from scratch. I havenever been dissatisfied with the food. I especially love the taco salad and my husband enjoys the beef fajitas. Read more

This is the second time I've been into the Mexican inn. There is reasons behind that. Because they have excellent food they have... excellent service. I'm still glad that we ate here... the setting was quiet yet unusual with stares from other patrons. The food tastes great and... provides good set of options. A couple of items unavailable like fresh tortillas made it a lil frustrating but we worked aroundit to enjoy our evening & experience. Read more
