Hector was our waiter, service was excellent. We prefer a spicier salsa, got the Chile de arbol salsa and the molcajetes, both... were delicious - great flavor. Had the beef enchiladas with beans and rice. Good if you enjoy tex mex, beans needed a littleseasoning. Margaritas, amazing. Read more
Ms. Vicky greeted us at the door. We requested a booth and were immediately seated. Our server came by about a minute later... for our drink order. We had a couple requests for minor changes to our entrees that were accommodated without hesitation. Ourfood was served and was perfect. Ms. Vicky came by to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Maria waited on us tonight and she was wonderful. We had our drink orders with in minutes of sitting down. Our dinner was out... standing. We sat on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful Friday evening in north Texas. Highly recommend. Read more

Not bad. Not my favorite Mexican food place. But the spinach enchiladas were very good. Just veggie enchiladas, carrots,... mushrooms, spinach of course. Onions cabbage, so many good veggies all cooked into an enchilada. The sauce was even very good.And our waiter Julio did a great job! This place is better than most, just not the best. Read more
Visiting during the week was peaceful but lax. Upon our arrival, we weren't greeted immediately, but that was soon remedied... through Mi Cocina's customer service. We ordered two Ceviche de Camarones (Verde; and Pineapple and Jicama), #10 Two Pork PicosoTamales, and the "Mi Cocina" Margarita. All of the food we ordered were good, but one of them takes first place?the Ceviche deCamarones (Pineapple and Jicama). This dish was packed with flavors and was filling. In comparison to the Verde, the Pineappleand Jicama one wins by a mile, so if you're torn between the two, definitely choose the Pineapple and Jicama. As for the #10from the lunch menu, it was alright. There wasn't anything that truly stood out. Nothing was too special about the drinkeither. As for the customer service, it was a bit odd. We were initially greeted by a lady, but she never really came around togetting our orders, so another server served us. He, on the other hand, made sure we were taken care of which made theexperience a lot better because the environment overall was a bit odd. Overall, I'm unsure if I'd visit this location again. Itseemed quiet, but it was too relaxed and the food was just 'good'?it wasn't the same as before, and I've been here a couple oftimes (this was the first Mi Cocina location I've ever visited). Visited again while in the area. The waiter Hector was amazing, super attentive, and a pleasure to deal with. Food was a little... off this time, seemed like it was lacking a bit of flavor. Overall still worth the trip, mambo taxis are awesome! Read more
