Normally we love this place. Not sure what happened. Now don't get me wrong. The hostess and waiter was absolutely AMAZING! The... house salad and dessert was AMAZING! BUT......our main entrées are the reason for the review. It was WAY over seasoned withpepper! My husband got his favorite (prime rib) and it was smothered in black pepper. We ordered appetizer of artichoke andspinach and it was just okay. I got my all time favorite chicken fried steak and potatoes and couldn't eat it due to the overpowering season of black pepper. My mouth was on ????! If it wasn't for the main entrées I'd gladly give it a higher rating. Read more
Love this place! Honestly never have had a bad experience. Great service, great food. Tonight I tried the fried onions appetizer... - delicious. I love their house salads - the ranch has a dill flavor that is ????????. And I had the chicken laredo with sweetpotato fries. Such good flavor! Only complaint was all the oil on the plate made the fries soggy - so next time I’ll requestthe fries on a different plate. My server, Kennedy, was very kind and attentive. Hello Everyone ????, Now my mother-in-law Treated me for my ???? (50 baby).I was so excited I know I know it’s just a... restaurant , but it was my B-Day. On my birthday!! After chemo I needed meet to help build numbers, so I decided to try this place first time ever. I was told it... was a 30 minute wait so i decided to wait at the bar. 20 minutes later still have not been asked for my drink order. Asked acouple of people how to get a drink order. They said you have to go to the waitress station. So I get up and go to waitressstation to order a drink. I told the bar back, it is my birthday I want a frozen margarita. 5 minutes later she fixes a drink. Iwait another 15 minutes for a table while observing 6 then 7 and then 5 tables open. I finally get seated back in a corner. Tellthe waitress it is my birthday, they took my order. I really wanted a dessert after my meal, but was never offered theopportunity to order. Nice environment, friendly staff, I personally enjoyed the tea. A little bit to critique on the steak and shrimp meal, steak was... cooked to order, lacked tenderness and only mild flavor, shrimp was almost burnt which left it dried out.- 3out of 5 stars.Chicken tenders 4 out of 5 stars. Always great service and great food at this location! The bar is right when you walk in so it’s also convenient for a just... popping in as a couple when busier. The steaks are always cooked perfectly and the sides are delicious. Don’t forget to getsome Shiner Bock bread! Read more
