Wow, some supremely good home cooking going down at this place. My mom had fried chicken and took some home (she never takes... stuff home) must be some good eats. My dad cleared his plate with a simple "this is good". I had a chicken Giro and had noproblems finishing it off. They all looked wonderful and I need to remember to take photos before eating. Lastly are thedeserts, seriously people, start with desert first! Food took a little over 20 minutes to make. But it was well worth the wait. I was in town and stopped by here. I was pleasantly... surprised that it was partially black owned. I ordered the jerk chicken entree with two sides and complimentary garlic bread.The jerk chicken came on a bed of rice and is moreso jerk inspired (it didn't taste like authentic jerk chicken) however it wasjuicy and flavourful. For sides i ordered the side salad with strawberry vingerette and mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese wasthe BOMB. It's really hard to impress me with Mac and cheese, but I couldn't stop eating it even though it was piping hot. Thesalad was also delicious, the strawberry vingerette tasted like it was homemade. The garlic bread was also really delicious. Icouldn't eat everything in one sitting, so I'm excited for my left overs. Will definitely stop here again next time I'm intown! Read more

Fantastically delicious comfort food! Lovingly prepared and with friendly, kind and COVID-19 precaution considerate curbside... service. ???? Favorite entrees are Blackbean burger and sweet potato fries, lemon pepper salmon with veggies, pecan crustedtilapia with veggies, shrimp with pesto pasta and a caesar salad, chicken Philly sandwich, Angus beef with onions / gravy ormeatloaf and veggies just to name a few personal favorites for myself, my husband and my mom. Amazingggg place for a low key date night! Glad to support a local business that puts out quality homemade food with lots of... love. Quirky, comforting, and seasoned! We were coerced into dessert and I am a baker and my mom is a Euro trained pastry chefand the cakes are legit...esp. Italian cream (a cake I really don't like and ended up loving it!) Ethnic seasoning on point! Will make this our dedicated date night or my lunch place when I need to get out of the house! Cashier is extremely slow, Chef is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!! GREAT FOOD!!!!!! Long wait due to cashier. While I was ordering,... she stopped taking my order to answer the phone and was taking a very long time taking the callers order. She also forgot tocharge me for three salads but put them with my order anyways. The chef/ owner noticed and of course it took even longer and myhot sandwiches were then cold. I believe the customer IN FRONT of you COMES FIRST!!!!! I was a supervisor for 8 years and nowwork at a medical office treating over 300 patients a day. Whomever is standing in front of you should ALWAYS come FIRST!!!! I'ma firm believer in that as are millions of people around the world. I find this extremely disrespectful.
