Ate here for the first time this weekend and was super disappointed. When I'm paying $49 a plate I expect to have an excellent... service. Salad bar was excellent. You could truly make a meal out of that without having to have any of the meat. Lobster bisquesoup was some of the best I've ever had. The bacon wrapped filet mignon was over the top. We celebrated my 56th Birthday and had a wonderful evening together. The staff was very attentive and friendly and the food was... completely off the chain. Even though we didn't have reservations we were seated right away. The problem was we were in a narrow hallway next to the... kitchen door and across from the waitstaff station. The 2nd problem was that it took some time for the gauchos to start servingus, they walked by several times. Other than that, the food was delicious! If you like meat, this is the place to go! Delicious, as always. The lamb chops outperformed last night, my wife usually doesn't like lamb chops, but last night even she... liked them! Like always, I hit the salad bar to hard, but there are just so many delicious things on there! Rachael was a greathost, and the atmosphere was almost perfect! This is our go to for special occasions, although we always end up to fullafterwards, but that's my fault. You can not take leftovers home, so I always consider it a challenge to finish my plate! Loved the modern decor, the bar, and the salad bar the most. So many options! And of course I did the rookie mistake of filling... up on salad bar and side dishes (I'm not disappointed, was worth the price!) and I was only able to try a few pieces of meat.The ones I did try were delicious though, and next trip I'll definately have to make it past the salad bar to try all the meatoptions. A nice place to go for a special occasion. Good food and fun to watch how all of the servers navigate everything. The salad bar... is good & not the typical salad stuff.
