This was supposed to be an upscale restaurant in the heart of downtown Fort Worth. Toro toro is in the middle of a hotel. A... nicer hotel at that. I found the tables to be a bit close together and the music extremely loud. There was in all fairness somesort of business convention going on at the bar and lobby. The restroom is upstairs and you have to walk by a food warmingstation to get to the elevator . We were seated promptly. We ordered our drinks. Soft drinks. Took about 15 minutes to getthose. We ordered our appetizer and again took about 15 to 20 minutes. About forty minutes later our entrees came out, withalmost all of our sides. That took another 15 minutes. The flavor of the steak was incredible. Seasoned to perfection. Theflavored on the sides were equally as good. The only problem is …everything was cold. It took so long to get dinner that Iwas not going to send it back. But dinner was over 200 bucks. To their credit they gave us 10 percent off and a free dessert. Iam hoping that it was just an off night. Read more

Amazing flavor and atmosphere. Lunch. I had a cuban sandwich that didn't disappoint. Tons of meat on a grilled bun. The fries... were delicious, too. I thought the price was well within range of the food offerings. No doubt quality is a top priority here.Top it all off with a fantastic wait staff. I can't wait to try another item on their menu. Went for DFW Restaurant Week for the curated menu with a few girlfriends. Food was to die for! Please get the Octopus Anticucho,... you won’t regret it. Ambiance is very nice and setting is lively but intimate. Definitely recommend for a date night or girlsnight! Ask for Doug! He made our first experience here the best. Read more

The restaurant is conveniently located inside a nice hotel. The entrance welcomes you to the smell of grilled meat. We came here... for my wife’s birthday and as we sat down, they greeted her with shot of tequila and a chocolate. Happy Birthday! We firstordered the octopus and it was so delicious, we ordered another plate. My wife got the 3-course meal and I went for the cevicheand this tiny grilled rolled steak. The skirt steak she ordered was tender, juicy, and pleasurable. My orders was just as goodand almost life changing as I’ve never tasted some of these flavors before. My daughter ordered the cucous chicken and ravedabout it for a week. Everything was nicely prepared and presented. It was a culinary experience we did not expect. Pricey butfor us it was worth the experience. Read more

For many in the party, this was our first time. The food is unique, but tasty. We had questions about the menu. Tyrnee and her... group were awesome. They are very friendly and personable. They put the cherry on the top. The staff went the extra milewherever they could including cutting the cake, bringing in items, answering all and any of our questions and providing extraitems for the setup and tear down. You will enjoy the experience. Parking is free with validation from the restaurant Read more

This place was a great surprise when we we found it. I didn’t expect this experience inside our hotel. I had a feeling it was... going to be great when the hostess seated us and I saw the grill. Very cool to sit near it and watch as the chef grills all themeats for the nights orders. This girl was a beast on the grill, hard working, focused and knew exactly what she was doing. Mysteak was perfectly seasoned and couldn’t have been cooked and better. Sides were good too. Mashed potatoes and corn empanadaswere memorable. We ended with the chocolate cake which was very good, even for a non dessert eater such as myself. My wife and Isat and watched the chef “do her thing” for a good while after our meal just because it was entertaining. It’s not cheapto eat here but it is worth the money! Read more
