Our friends had recommended Waters. We were not disappointed in anyway. Our server, Val, was pleasant, accommodating,... knowledgeable and very helpful. The “Dirty Dozen” of fresh, chilled oysters on the half shell were excellent. The Red Fish,Crab Cakes, Swordfish (special) all were outstanding. As were the gumbo and fresh grilled asparagus. We would highly recommendWaters. I was raised on the East-end of Long Island and really appreciate fresh, well prepared seafood. Read more

Food was so Fresh, we had Oysters and Shrimp Cocktail. Patio Bar staff was amazingly kind and thoughtful. We wandered in with no... reservation. It did not change how they treated us. We were sat at the Patio Bar since the manager asked if we would stay fordrinks or food. He offered us a table but it had a reservation an hour later. So we opted for the bar. Did not disappoint. Theychanged the tv to the NFL draft for my wife and I. They also reminded us we had time to sample the Amazing Happy Hour menu.Price/Value/Ambiance Read more

This was our first time here and we had high expectations. When we arrived for our 5:45 reservations we realized quickly that... the restaurant was too cold for an enjoyable meal. We opted to sitting on the patio whose ambiance was more questionable. Ourconcerns were quickly put to rest as we started ordering (oysters followed by a salad and the entrees). The food was amazing. Definitely prepared with quality in mind My wife's scallops took the prize. Anyway we would definitely return and thetemperature in the lobby was better when we walked back through it otw out. My wife brought me here for my birthday dinner. This was our second time here, and it was still as fabulous as I remembered. We... chose to sit outside this time, and it was an amazing atmosphere at night; not too hot or cold. The tables are spread far enoughapart for an intimate setting. The service was its usual high standard; no surprises there. However, as always, it's about thefood, delicious. We started with the Calamari. It was perfectly seasoned and actually crisp without being overcooked. I alsostarted with the Tomato and Fried Goat Cheese Salad. Wife didn't feel courageous, but I liked it. The cheese did have a bit of agamey taste, but the roasted red pepper vinaigrette balanced it nicely. For the mains, my wife had the Crab Cakes, and theydidn't disappoint. They were a decent size with plenty of juicy crab. The cakes were firm and not mushy. She paired it with theCrispy Fries. I loooove fries, you've got to try these. First off, they came out streaming. True fry lovers will get that. Secondly, they didn't need salt or pepper. Whoever the chef was, knew what they were doing; crunchy exterior but soft interior. Two tumbs up. I had the Blackened Scallops. They were seared to a perfect medium. The seasoning wasn't overpowering, but justenough heat not to ruin tasting the actual Scallops. I paired my dish with the old fashioned Haricots Verts. For dessert, wetapped off the night with the Brownie a la mode. It was really good without causing toothaches. It is a fine dining restaurant, but feel free to relax in jeans and a Tshirt. Give this place a try. You won't regret it. Read more

We always have such a great time and experience when coming to dine here. We were served by Sophia this evening with the help... from Kentt for some great wine options. We came to try out this years Restaurant Week menu and we were not disappointed. Therewere three of us at the table, so we were able to divide and conquer the whole menu this year and get to try everything. Thesalads, soup, and fish dishes. The espresso cream Brule dish was really outstanding and it really put the sponge cake into theshadows for the sweet part of the menu. Never a bad meal or service at Waters Texas! Read more

Came here for my 30th birthday. No special treatment in terms of free dessert or anything, but you don't go to a restaurant... owned by Jon Bonnell for that. You go for authentic gumbo and basil cream halibut and lemon icebox cheesecake, all of which werefantastic. The after-dinner coffee was also delicious which it had no business being in an upscale seafood restaurant. Read more
