First timer. Pulled up around 6p on a Saturday to an empty lot. With no bbq smell in the air and got nervous. With such a high... score and at dinner time i expected there to be more cars outside. Guess it was just a slow night. Only a few people inside. As soon as you walk in though the lovely smell of que hits you so I said ok there we go. That's what I needed to smell to feelok ordering something. How can a bbq place not smell like bbq outside? I don't know but anyway food was delicious. Score welldeserved!!! Pulled pork. Baked beans were good. Ribs were indescribable. So tender so good with or without their sauce whichwas also good. French fry pie was ok. Too many beans under it all for my liking but brisket was good. Pudding and cobbler wasjust ok to me. Cobbler not sweet enough. Not enough cinnamon and not enough crust. Wouldn't reorder. Read more
Best seasoned fries ever! BBQ was fantastic and the food came out hot and fast. The cashiers messed up our bill and they noticed... it before we did and refunded the money, gave us his name and said to call if there was any problems. Atmosphere was also reallycool and I loved a toppings bar for my burger. Read more
Ok this place was really good. Got 3 meat combo, ribs 10/10, sliced brisket 8/10, sausage was a total miss here 4/10. Potato... salad 5/10, pinto beans 7/10. PORTION SIZE 10/10 . Barbecue sauce 5/10. Some of the best ribs I've ever eaten. Overalldefinitely come back to get my meats here. Read more
Thought we would try this place and we were over charged for the tacos. Thought they we 3.25 but as charged 3.75 and 3.95. We... asked about it and they said they haven?t been able to change the price on the menu but it wasn?t very busy. The tacos were verydry!!Service was not good and the tables were sticky. Drove by this place 100's of times, but today, we decided to stop. The food was really good. The sandwich pictured is the... Gunslinger. My friend got the Frito Pie. He said it was good too. Staff is friendly and fast service. The inside was clean andso were the restrooms. Soap, paper towels and toilet paper stocked. However, I have two things I feel are worth mentioning formanagement if they read this review. Your windows are absolutely filthy. This is a first impression thing. My red flag alarmwent off when we pulled up. Two, the tables are very sticky. It wasn't just ours. I checked two others before we satdown. Despite the two issues I noticed, Woody Creek BBQ still deserves a 5 star rating and we will be back soon. Read more
This wasn't our first stop for food, the other place was busy so I decided to look around and saw this place. I googled it and... saw the reviews and decided to give this place a try. It was so worth the last minute choice! Service was fast and great! Foodwas so good, the sides were so good I almost forgot to eat the meat. Now the meat .. the meat was so tender and juicy I ate muchmore than my stomach could hold, and for the price that is one heck of a good deal! The food was brought to us by a gentleman,he asked a few people how thing were and if they needed anything. I live in azle and this would be worth the 30 minutes drivethe next time we want BBQ!
