TERRIBLE! The worst service I?ve received in my life! I booked a room back in April since I had a wedding close by. ON THE DAY... OF, I called the hotel around noon to confirmed the check-in time: the gentleman confirmed it was 4pm. I asked if it waspossible to check-in earlier and he verified but confirmed that the room would most-likely not be ready as there was someonestaying in it and that they needed time to clean before I arrive. Up until now everything is fine, I totally understand. THENcomes 4pm and AS I AM PULLING INTO THE PARKING LOT I receive a phone call from the Hotel saying that THEY WOULDN?T BE ABLE TOGIVE ME A ROOM FOR THE NIGHT because there was some damages in my room and that the Hotel was completely booked. Disappointedand puzzled as why they waited until 4pm to tell me this, I asked if they could help me out or accommodate me since I booked 4months ago and that I?ve already paid for my room, but they said NO sorry! REALLY??!??!?! That?s the kind of service theyoffer! Since all the other Hotels around were fully booked, I had to drive 2hours to go back home after the wedding. Worst experience of my life !! Reserved a room in April for a marriage I had that was in the neighbourhood for the month of... august. The day of the my reservation I called at 1pm to see if there was a possibility for me to check in a bit earlier since Ihad to be on site at 4pm and the check in is only at 4pm receptionist told me there is no way. I could understand since theydid not have time to clean the room is what she said. Arrived at the hotel at 4pm and while parking my car the hotel calls me totell me that I will not be able to have my room (that I already paid for) do to a problem in my room. I then told them I justwanted to sleep and leave early morning reason of me being there is that i was invited to a wedding. I then asked her why Icould not have the room I had already paid for? she told me that there was water damage in the room and that the bed was allwet. After a 2h drive to get there i did not understand why they couldn?t advise me before getting there and only at the checkin time she had no answer for me. I then asked her what could I do in this situation can you refer somewhere else or try to atleast help me out in the situation especially the fact that you give me this information a 4pm .. she said it?s not our faultand there is nothing she could do to help. Was easy to take my money when I reserved 4 months in advance. I had to drive backhome since all other hotel rooms where sold out that night. Best part is that when I got to the wedding I spoke to someone andthey told me that they went to the same hotel I reserved got there around 3pm and was given a room and said to me the hotel wascompletely booked online that day but they took a chance to see if there were maybe availability if they presented themselves athotel. I then realized they gave them my room. Very disappointed if you think of reserving a night at this hotel make sure totell them not to give your room away. I?m only giving 1star because I have to. We had a great time at this hotel. We stayed at king bedroom. Really lovely. Their breakfast is amazing. Huge plates. Also they... have a very nice two saunas and a pool. All workers were nice to us. Thank you. Read more
The location of this hotel is what really makes it worthwhile. If not for the view and the restaurant, I wouldn't recommend... coming here, however if you like to kayak and wake up early enough the view from the lake is absolutely stunning. 3.5/5 stars. Read more
Nice hotel with a good brunch and friendly staff, specially the lady in the reception was lovely. The view of the room was nice... and we could rent a kayak and walked on a path on Knowlton! Read more
- When we arrived, there was not an employee in sight to check us in for 10 min. - No wood for the fireplace in the room,... disappointing since it was a cold winter night. - An employee hung up on us. - The employees of the restaurant did not know theoffered meals. - We received the wrong supper meals to our room. - The breakfast was delivered uncovered (stone cold). - Theburglar's alarm went off at four AM for a quarter hour and everyone evacuated in the middle of the night - no apology issued forthis, no manager or owner in sight when the guests were waiting outdoors for an explanation. Amazing location in front of beautiful Lac Brome, with direct accès to the lake, and amazing sunset. Kayaks seem to be... available during summer season, as well as a pontoon available for rent. The included breakfast from the restaurant was topnotch with lots of choice from a breakfast/brunch menu. All in all great service, cozy hotel, clean and great value for themoney. Read more
