Went up north to see the fall color's and stopped in this bar for lunch. We had a large mushroom and swiss burger with lettuce... and onion. An order of onion rings. Both were excellent and before we left a gentleman gave us directions for a short looparound to see more fall colors. I would say go there for a very good burger. Read more
It was customer appreciation day. Live band and good reasonable priced food and drinks.
Had the daily special, (hot beef mashed potatoes) it was excellent.
Went for the labor day buffet, very quiet and food was what you would expect from bar food.
The service was not the greatest. Food was ok and the big Bavarian pretzel good but had too much salt on it.
Can't say one way or the other, seated at a table then waited for 15 mins and no one came to take even our drink order not to... mention food order, walked out! Read more
My wife and I stopped here with a friend of ours. My wife's friend had been here before and had good things to say about the... place. My wife and her friend got the fish and shrimp combo, I just got the fish. Usually I like an all you can eat fish fry, Iasked the waitress how big the pieces were and she said that she doesn't have people order more than 3 pieces because they arepretty big. I got 4 and had to take one home. The batter was excellent and so was the fish! It's haddock, which was a nicechange. The tartar sauce was really good too, which makes or breaks a fish fry for me. My wife and her friend said the shrimpwas excellent as well. I'll have to try that next time we stop. The only slightly negative part was that our young waitress wasnot very personable, we tried to joke around with her a couple times and she didn't really seem to have a sense of humor. It'sdefinitely not going to keep us from coming back and she did a good job, so not a real big deal. Worth a stop for some greatfish for sure! Read more
