Went there in the pm to pick up an order. As I was waiting downstairs I saw two mice run across the floor. For a restaurant... who's food pick up is downstairs I would have thought they would have kept it clean and mice free. Will not be coming backknowing they have mice. Moretti's pizza puts Quonset Hut, Mike's, Kaiser's, Mama K's, Rosati's and Bill's pizza all to shame. Moretti's has great... pizza, certainly priced better than Bill's. Moretti's other menu choices are excellent too. Their ribs are delicious as is theFilet Mignon Trio. Warm up with one of their fine appetizers, try the crispy Brussels sprouts for one. Food was great something for everyone. Great drinks and variety of food choices. Servis was awful! We were a party of 7 I really... was expecting stronger service. We ordered our drinks then Donna left to fill and return with the drinks. We then ordered ourappetizers and she did not return until she brought our starters? Took about 15-20 minutes for the starters to come out. Thestarters finally made it to the table. We then request to drink refills and then placed our order at which point she did notreturn until the orders were full. Again, we requested drink refills and then requested a drink menu to get adult beverages.Just a very disappointing service experience. We arrived at about 4:15 on a Wednesday afternoon. Twice in the past few days I ordered delivery from Moretti's in fox lake. The first time the pizza was delivered in a pile. I... called and was taken care of right away and was offered either a new pizza or credit to my account. I took the credit. Two dayslater I ordered delivery and was told what the soup of the day was. I also ordered some pasta and a cheeseburger with Americancheese and chips and dip. I received a call about 15 minutes later and was told the soup of the say was wrong and I did not wantthe correct soup. I was told I was not charged for this. Also I had to ask for the credit and had to wait on the phone for amanager. I was then hung up on. I had to call back to get the order completed. I finally get everything straight and was toldthat my order was ready and they were leaving shortly. About 25 minutes later the order was delivered. When I opened the order Isaw that the cheeseburger did not have anything with it like lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. I then opened the chips and dipand no dip. I paid extra for the dip. I tried to call the manager and after waiting 15 minutes on hold I hung up and decidedthat I was not going to order from them again. I feel like the service is not worth my aggravation any more. This place is always a hit or miss. When the order is actually right this place can be great. But I've ordered salads that would... have ingredients that weren't supposed to be there and I've had salads that lacked many of the ingredients it was supposed tohave. This time I ordered a medium cheese pizza (14 inch) and paid $18.00 when I could have gone to Jewel and bought the samething for $5.00. The pizza was slopped together, barely any cheese, and looks like a small because it didn't even match the 14inch card board underneath it. I probably call on more than half of the meals ordered to tell them it's wrong and then theyreplace it. Unfortunately I'm not anticipating on a free meal every time I do order from here. I'd just like what I ordered, howit's advertised on their menu. I'm not sure what the issue is with consistency here. Read more
Have only ordered thin crust cheese and sausage pizza. Taste is good. Crust very thin. Believe it or not, we were still hungry... after eating it. Have tasted their pasta with chicken and sausage and chicken vesuvio when a friend catered from here. It wasvery good. Still haven't eaten in the restaurant. Second time here. Nice atmosphere great people. Brussels sprouts app is amazing. And we had the pan pizza twice. First time... was the jalapeño popper pizza. We love spicy. But the Peppers could have been cooked down a little and chopped up to spreadthe flavor around more. Second time was the old school Italian. Basically a combo beef and sausage with green peppers andgiardiniera. Amazing. Great crust. LOTS of cheese and the sauce was spot on. And it came with au jus. Cute.
