We are reg customers and usually love this place. Don?t understand how they ask how if everything was ok but yet do nothing... about it. Found a black hair on the bottom of my plate and still had me pay did nothing but said sorry. Had the stuffedblueberry french toast. The lady at the register took my number and said she?d pass the information on to the owner Chris andshe?d call me. This was over 3 weeks ago? Haven?t heard back from anyone. Have tried many items from both breakfast and lunch menus and food is delicious. Kitchen is extremely fast so even if there is a... long line to get in, the wait is not long. Most servers are great only one young lady is overly friendly and can make somepeople uncomfortable. So busy that items may run out early in the day, especially soup and pies. Read more
Went here for lunch with my son and we loved it! They were busy for a Wednesday atound lunch, but we were still able to get in a... get a table right away. From the moment we walked in the entire staff was super friendly and had a great up beat energy to them.The train theme they have throughout is great and something to see for sure. The food we had was excellent and good portions forthe money. I personally ordered the apple bread gouda club sandwich and... it was delicious! I ate at the Whistle Stop Café for the first time a couple of days ago, and was very happy with my food. I ordered one of the... specials (listed on the board in front of you as you enter) and it was great - eggs, bacon, and red velvet pancakes withstrawberries. I finished it all, but couldn't eat any more - the perfect amount! We also got a carafe of apple juice to share,and both kids and my wife were all happy with their meals. No complaints, and they were busy when we were there, but we didn'thave to wait long for our food at all. Recommended! Read more
