It saddens me to leave a bad review. I grew up going yo La Cantinas and loved the food. I went for lunch about 6 months ago and... was very disappointed with the food. I decided to give it a try for dinner this past Saturday night because maybe it was justa bad experience for lunch. Unfortunately, that was not the case. My husband ordered the baked haddock and it came out andlooked absolutely horrible. The breadcrumbs on top weren’t even browned. We actually did try it and it was as bad as itlooked. I actually said to the waitress that the cook should be embarrassed to have sent that out the kitchen .We sent it backand got the fried fish instead, which was just ok. I had chicken Marcella, and it was so bland. I had a side of spaghetti andthe sauce on it was awful. The waitress was amazing and very apologetic, however It did look like she was not surprised aboutthe complaint at all . Again, it saddens me to leave this review. Read more
Wow ohh Wow the food here is amazing! We picked up a pizza for the kids last night and I had the Antipasto. The staff was very... friendly at takeout window and the food was amazing. One of the best antipasto's I have ever had, the homemade dressing reallygives it that edge. Kids said it was the best pizza they had ever had. Antipasto was huge with a lot of veggies. Food is always excellent. I'm 100% Italian so I'm fussy when it comes to basic things like red sauce. These folks knock it out... of the park. And their salad dressing is very good - I bought a bottle to use at home. They also have great function areas-I've been yo meetings in both their upstairs and downstairs hall. Read more
My five star restaurant: La Cantina Italian, Framingham--food is consistently wonderful with large portions. Our favorites are... the veal parmesan and the prime rib. Reasonable prices, esp. if you sign up for their email. The outdoor tent is the goldstandard, comfortable even during heat waves. Great friendly service, very accommodating. It's a hidden gem!!! La Cantina Italiana was absolutely AMAZING !! A lot of times with big portions (and the portions are BIG!!!), quality of the... dish goes way down, but not here. My chicken parmigiana was absolutely outstanding!! Need I say more? Read more
Saw this on Phantom Gourmet and heard about their unique pizza and it was good. Though I may have overdone it on the meats
Went to a small private party here in the basement room. Space was nice and large and food was good but you definitely feel like... you’re in a basement. Red sauce had a tang to it which grew on me throughout the meal. Lost a star because there was nobathroom on our level, had to take elevator upstairs to the restrooms. Overall pretty good. Read more
