I had to travel to Boston/Marlborough, Massachusetts for work and decided I wanted seafood the night I was there. It was... suggested to me to try Legal Sea Foods in Framingham. The atmosphere, the service, the food- so good!! I was definitely gladthat I picked this place! The 2 items that stood out the most was the clam chowder and the broccoli au gratin!! This restaurant is one of major sea food restaurant chains, and what they served was just what we expected from them! Fresh sea... foods they served all quite delicious and even fish & chips was much better than the usual, at least I felt so. Yellow tail onthe menu was not available when we visited, but I guess it was because of the market of the day. The waitperson was kind andprofessional and her recommendation was perfect for me. I had a wonderful lunch here with my mom a few days ago!! You would never think you were on the side of route 9 in Framingham.... It is so well decorated, I love the nautical ties on the windows. The bar is gorgeous, the high ceilings and natural light alsoadd a lot to the eating atmosphere. The oysters were AMAZING!! The Kung Pao Chicken (I think that’s what it’s called?)would have been better if it was grilled, not fried. The Tuna Poke was absolutely exquisite!! The fish was so fresh. If I wereto make a change, it would be the chips. The purple tortillas did not go with the fish. Overall though. the food was absolutelyamazing!! Our waitress was attentive and kind. I do wish the fish tank inside was working. The image of the fish looks tacky,if the fish tank gets fixed and the aquarium is kept again like it once was, it will add a lot to the aura of the restaurant andis a welcoming presence when you walk in. Great experience, I always love legal no matter where I find them! My lobster roll was sooo yummy and their clam chowder is just... always a winner. We also had Mexican street cod from the chef's "trial" menu which was very good. Read more
I did enjoy my clam chowder, the stuffies were ok wasn't that impressed. The haddock did taste good thought i would have had at... least 2 pieces of fish for the price they charge you. And my husband said his plate cost to much for 6 pieces of shrimp and somefries. Read more

I really enjoy this place. The food is fantastic, the service is great, and it's a nice relaxing atmosphere. The lobster rolls... are the best and the crab rolls are good but I would suggest adding warm butter to it. They make delicious sides so I have nocomplaints. This was my second time eating at this chain and I was impressed both times. When I am in the area I will certainlybe stopping by again to try more of their menu. I highly recommend Legal Sea Foods.
