Uncle Cheung's has earned its longevity with delicious food, friendly service and a comfortable, attractive dining room. The... menu is more interesting than most area Chinese restaurants, and would please vegetarians, gluten free diners as well as anyonewho appreciates fresh food prepared well. Children would be very happy here, too. Prices are moderate and the portions, generous. There is handicap accessible parking. The restaurant is on a rise, but there's a lift in the entryway up to thedining room. The restaurant has a full bar. Read more

Wow, my new favorite Chinese restaurant. Finding a Gluten-Free Chinese restaurant is hard enough, but finding one that does GF... and has great tasting food is nearly impossible. The General Gao's chicken was delicious, rich, battered and spicy. The PorkFried Rice was not greasy at all like you normally get at many restaurants. The ribs and Chow Fun were both very tasty. Portionsizes were larger than average and the prices were very reasonable. I'm a pretty big guy but I wound up having to box up halfthe food I ordered. On top of the good food was the very friendly and conversational staff which were engaged, helpful and veryknowledgeable about the food. The ambience is simple and casual and does feel a little dated, but all I care about is greatfood and service and this place delivered. One of the owners mentioned they've been there for 39 years and I'm not surprised-they've got a winning formula. Read more

Just want to leave a note about Uncle Cheung’s restaurant in Framingham. We had the most amazing experience there this past... Sunday. Most of their menu is gluten free and my celiac son tried Chinese food for the first time in his life. The food isexcellent and he felt fantastic after. I’m not a huge Chinese food fan because it always feels too greasy, but this was trulya fantastic meal for everyone. Everything was fresh and delicious. The best part is the staff. It’s a family owned restaurantand the owner went around every table and spent extra time with us to tell us about their safety practices for celiacs and thosewith different allergies. They recommended various menu options for us and everything was yummy. Highly recommend to try thisplace! Read more

My wife and me took my 2-year old son there for lunch, their Shanghai food is actually very tasty, but they really need to... improve their service. 1) We have waited for 55 minutes for Xiaolong bao. While I asked the waitress what is going on, if it isnot ready, we don't want it anymore. She brought it out in one minutes, and she told us they have rule that the food should beserved in about 20 minutes, we must have not waited for that long. 2) During the lunch, we have to help ourselves to get morewater, find out cups, even taken more napkins. The waitress never showed up, I am not sure if she is also the chef of therestaurant. 3) We are forced to pay 18% tips for the food. We actually paid more than 18% most of the time in restaurant, butthe way they take tips really makes us uncomfortable. Is this even legal? Anyway, will not come back again for the bad service. Absolutely amazing gluten free Chinese food!! Seriously, you have to come here if you're on a gluten free diet. Amazing food,... tasty tea, and a peaceful setting. I saw a couple reviews complaining about the menu and service, but those are bull. You scana QR code for their MASSIVE menu, that's all. Additionally, I was told by a Vietnamese friend that it's culturally common withmany Asian restaurants for a waiter to come to the table when you politely wave them over, not randomly and repeatedly botheringyou to check in. People need to be more mindful of other cultures. The service here was wonderful and very polite, and thehostess was friendly. 100% would recommend coming here. Read more

I am currently eating general tsos chicken from a different restaurant and was thinking, man this still isn't as good as the... last one I got from uncle cheungs. Then I thought, oh yes! I forgot to write a review. I have a mostly basic American palletteand I got a typical order of general tso chicken, or maybe it is gao, I can hardly tell the difference between the 2, but it wasPHENOMENAL. Often times you get this classic chicken and rice dish from an Asian restaurant and the chicken on the inside ishard and the breading is too thick or rubbery, seeming like a pre frozen kind of deal. But the chicken I got from uncle cheungswas excellent. Big pieces of juicy chicken perfectly breaded and fried and the sauce was great too. Service is friendly. Ihighly recommend. Ps I think I lost the pic of the chicken but here's the Rangoon's and nice strong drink lol Read more

Not authentic. Service is pretty much done it by customers checking the menu online and write it by ourselves. And ask... waitress to come when we are ready. Even need to ask add more dish during. Also the final receipt total amount is already 18%tip for 3 people and you can't revise it. Food is small portion. Has hunan duck and lamb, and it 70% broccoli and pepper. Itsnot human style at all -not spicy at all. Won't invite friends to eat here anymore. Read more
