The food is world famous. A not to be missed experience while in Frankenmuth. It is a very busy place, not sure if they take... reservations but the wait can be long. I was able to visit my family in Saginaw area and we tried our Zehnder?s. I have to say I did enjoy every bit of the experience.... The server was amazing. Our waitress really was top notch! Amy really welcomed us and made it feel like we were part of theexperience. The ambiance was great reminded me of when I went to a similar place near me. The food quality was excellent! This restaurant did not disappoint. Beautiful building and delicious food. The all you care to eat family style meal is... unique. The food was hot, delicious and plentiful. The service was equally as good. Save room for some ice cream and walk itall off as you tour the marketplace and bakery downstairs. Will certainly visit again. Read more
The food is fantastic, I am a hard food critic that is not impressed by many restaurants. This one impressed me! Chicken was... melt in the mouth juicy. Ribs were tender with phenomenal flavor. Zehnder's has the most flavorful chicken that I have tasted. The service is friendly, helpful, and energetic. A nice touch is... that the service staff is dressed as would be expected in 1940's Germany. The facility has dining rooms, a cafe, and gift shopsfull of wonderful items. We just ate here with our dog. We were outside and we had a great time. The barbecue chicken wings were very tasty and soft. The... chicken quarter was good, maybe I would have preferred it combined with a sauce. The personnel was kind and fast. Read more
What a great experience! Our waitress, Shelly, was super fun, personable, and made our dinner extra special (she even took our... picture for us). The chicken and mashed potatoes were delicious, and we especially enjoyed the creamy cabbage salad. Woulddefinitely go again! Read more
Loved the atmosphere. You need to go here if you're visiting. The food was really good. I felt like it would have used more... spices/flavour for the chicken, but nicely cooked.
