This place should be shut down! Very, very dirty the counter, the highchair you cam see the dirt the stickiness that's been... there forever. They were passing dirty garbage can pass the counter so that they don't have to go around to the other side. Nowthe service, well what service. I order mac and cheese for my son and for myself cheeseburger with gluten free bun. Well 25minlater still no food, my poor 2 year old was so hungry. I called the waitress over that took our order to just charge me for thelittle juice box that my son got and told her it doesn't take 25min for what I ordered to come out and especially since theplace was so empty. It took another 3-5 min for a different waitress to come out and tell me that she is very sorry but they ranout of gluten free buns and if I wanted to take the food to go. I ask are you serious? Why didn't anyone come up to me to tellme that when the food order was placed? Why would I want to take the food to go when you bring your little one for theexperience in the first place. (FYI for the 30 min that we were there the food train never came around at all.) We usually go tothe Downers Grove one where its a little better but not much. Read more

This review really deserves a 3 1/2 stars. I didn't much care for the food, it was really just okay. However, my 3 year old... niece loved the trains and was absolutely enamored by them. Service was a bit on the slower side like others mentioned, but thestaff was friendly. If you have kids, they will probably love this place. Read more

Great food, great staff. Waitresses work really hard. Fun place for the kids. Old school video game machines and easy claw... machines. Free ice cream for the kids. Trains deliver food and other train sets to look at. Read more
