I go here about once a week (new to the area) and order the southwest salad. They always give me half filled salad dressings and... I can barely get the dressing to stretch over half the salad. I also always order 1 extra dressing. Today I ordered 2 extradressings and they filled them less than half so that the dressing would equal to the same amount. It's so frustrating. The food is good ~IF~ you get what you order. The staff...well I have heard the manager yelling on many separate occasions. I... pick up alot of to go orders for my store and she never seems happy with her crew and our order is wrong 8 out of 10 times. Read more
Was so sad when we drove here and no potatoes. Luckily we came back a few days later and spuds were in. The service was... definitely stretched thin. They did a great job though and overall it was great. Hopefully they are back to full staff soon.Would also be great to have the teas and lemonade out for customers to fill themselves. Sadly a very rude manager. The store was very hot as we walked in and we mentioned that it?s warm and she responded with ?no... it?s not it?s 73, that?s not hot.? There was no air moving on a stuffy day and all the employees walking around were sweating.On an incredibly humid day, full dining room, it was not a nice environment and the managers response was very disappointing. Came in here for a late lunch on a weekday. There was no line, only a couple of tables were occupied. Ordered and then went... off to find a seat. It was sad to see so many tables that hadn't been cleared, despite how slow it was. My baked potato cameout with cheese sauce and chili, as requested, but it was all so small. Two potatoes that combined would have equalled oneregular baker potato. Spoonful of each topping, and a sweet tea. $12. Yikes! And during the whole time I was there, stilldidn't see a single table get bussed. Maybe they wait until they're all dirty and then do one big sweep? It did not make for apleasant eating environment. Ok...so McAlister's Deli in Franklin, IN. This is your third strike. Wrong soup on my husband's plate. His bread is... soggy. Plates are dirty. Wrong side item for my daughter. Didn't even ring up my sandwich (we were dining in, how did you nothear me?) Then when my food arrived, my bread is burnt, there is mystery sauce on my plate (french dips don't come with sauce onthem), and the lid to my potato salad has au jus all over it. But hey....I got a free cookie. ??????? I like McAlister's, butthis location needs to do a lot better. I guess I will be making the drive to Greenwood if I want to go at all. Read more
