Reviews for Panera Bread in Franklin, MA
Most Panera's follow the same formula that's a consistent four stars. This location is typically very clean and staff is... helpful. Only time service is lacking is when they are overly busy with walk-in and catering. Read more
I mean I try as much as possible to avoid any Panera, due to the underwhelming food and high prices and bad service. This... location is one of the worst I have ever visited. The staff is as disorganized as they come and the inside of this place is darkand dirty, with stuff all over the floor and a weird set up and dining area. They took almost 30 minutes to prepare my order andwhen I got it, the soup was cold and sandwich was a mess. The staff mopes around here with no clue and the back area where theyprepare the food is a mess. The afternoon I came in, the manager was there and she was as disorganized as the kids working inthe back, barking orders with no one listening to her. Never again for this location and never again for Panera, I doubt youwill see these places survive with poor customer service like this. Read more
Ordered two items - Fuji Salad and Steak sub. Fuji Salad was about 1/2 size of what it should be. Sub had gristle steak which... was impossible to chew. Quality has really gone downhill. Read more

Good was really good, but the total for a bowl of soup, free apple, beverage and chicken sandwich (which is actually pretty... small) was $21.50 or so. Way too expensive.i could have gone to Amy restaurant and sat down and been served home made foodinstead for the same price or less. Not a good deal to be honest. Read more
The order taker was a little inexperienced and unclear about the ingredients of some dishes, so the order had to be fixed.... However, the meal itself was great! The baja bowl with chicken was fabulous. Read more
So, I've obviously ate here many times, but not in a few years. I previously boycotted them back when they were advertising... "all natural" ingredients while using hydrogenated oils in many of their products, which is not a "natural" ingredient. Sincethey have since dropped that marketing, i wished to try them agian. I ordered the half sandwich and cup of soup. The soup was acreamy squash soup..very flavorful, but extremely salty. The sandwich was the Mediterranean veggie. I subbed in the ciabatta, and found it very chewy, but the overall sandwich flavors were good. The efficiency and speed is goos, but I'd gladly waitlonger if the final product would be better. Later, i had a coffee and a tried a couple baked goods. The coffee is decent, butcould've been hotter. The cinnamon coffee cake was very very dry, and dense, bordering on tough. It was not enjoyable. The warmfreshly baked chocolate chip cookie was cooked well, but it had too many chocolate chips, and was nearly half chocolate. Somepeople may like this, but the result was that the cookie was way too sweet. Regarding ambience, the vibration on the devices areso strong that it makes a most unpleasant noise when it goes off. In addition, there was the occasional "Carol!", that wasyelled out by the staff to get a customer's attention. I wish there were more quality bakery/cafés in the area, because it justseems that the attention to detail is almost completely gone now that they do such massive business and have so much profit.Sad... success breeds complacency, and I'm afraid that this feedback will likely fall on deaf ears. Support local businesseswhen you can, or else you'll be left with dry coffee cake! ???? Read more
Great food, but delivery is a nightmare. 99% of the time orders are wildly wrong, or just sloppy and barely thrown together. ... There are almost always ingredients missing, and yet if you ask for an ingredient to be left out, chances are, you'll get itanyway. It is like spinning the lunch roulette to see what you'll get each time. Read more
