I was very dissatisfied and disappointed with the food. We were very much looking forward to the food because of the reviews and... we had a personal reference as well. Restaurant was great! Beautiful inside and out. The employees were all amazing.the customers we?re fun while waiting. They open... at 5 and don?t take reservations so most people waited 30-45 mins and it was worth the wait. Food was great! We got ravioli andtortellini. Unfortunately my phone died before I could take pictures. They brought salad and garlic rolls. Our waiter Anthonywas great! Had a good personality, down to earth and had a sense of humor was quick and checked on us often.I?d definitely willeat here again next time I?m in town! Read more
Your restaurant ROCKS!! I have been craving spaghetti and meatballs for over 6 months now. I happen to be visiting Franklin, NC... and went to Lucio's Italian restaurant on highlands Rd for dinner and it was absolutely amazing!!!!!!?????? The meatballs werescrumptious and tender, the pasta sauce was out of this world and the garlic bread was to die for. For dessert, we had the threeflavored ice cream (omg sooo good) with limoncello pie, that was so light and fluffy and it paired very well with the icecream.???????????????????????? Read more
I can?t even begin to tell you how pleased I was at this restaurant. We found them after being completely dissatisfied with the... food and service at Cleavers, and after becoming fed up with them when what I assumed their signature dessert was not available,particularly after being told that my main course and side of choices were not available either. We did a quick Google searchfor restaurants in the area that may serve dessert, and found a picture of chocolate cake on this places page, and realized wecan get in the door just before closing if we hurried. I?m quite happy that we did. We were greeted at the door by the owner,who was extremely pleasant and full of smiles. We were taken to our seats in a very comfortable environment with nice decor andlighting seemingly aimed as setting a romantic mood, though that?s not what we were there for in particular. Our extraordinaryserver swung by the table to outline the evening?s specials and take drink orders, and I was sorry to have to inform him that wewere only there for dessert after hearing what they had to offer. How unfortunate to have just left a completely dissatisfyingdinner experience elsewhere! So, dessert it was, and what a selection! A dessert tray was brought out that had a wonderfulmenagerie of options, and a couple samples of wine were brought which we promptly ordered. Dark chocolate cake and rum cake Wordwonderfully decadent, and must have been prepared by Satan himself as they were certainly one of the deadly sins. I truly wishI?d had the opportunity to return to this restaurant before leaving town, as surely they would have saved me from thedisappointment I got at other local restaurants. The only thing I could ask for was that they add chilled dessert wines to themenu, mainly ice wines from the Niagara region. That would have gone so well with dessert. We can't say enough. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was awesome our waiter Jeffrey went above and beyond to make our... first time experience unforgettable. The homemade dressings were out of this world. The food is fresh and made with love allhome made and you need to come with a big appetite lots of food. We just moved to Franklin in May and have been looking forgreat restaurants and food. This is definitely one of our favorites and we will be back. We are here as a family for Christmas and decided to come here for dinner. What a great experience! Our waiter, Daniel, was very... informative and knowledgeable about the menu and attended greatly to our needs. I had the chicken parmigiana, which I?m usuallyiffy on getting, and it was delicious! We ate dinner there tonight hubby had lasagna which was great I had broiled grouper, not so great it was raw. I had waiter take... back to kitchen by then we were done with dinner so I had him put it in box.The waiter treated us to dessert which was verysweet. I brought my fish home and went to eat it and it was still raw,I was very disappointed cause I love grouper..We will goback I just won't have the grouper. Read more
