We always. ALWAYS come to a Gold Star when we come up to Ohio for the holidays. Cincinnati Chili may not be everyone's favorite,... but it's definitely a favorite of ours! This Gold Star in particular is probably the BEST location to come to. Our serverChristie/(Christy?) was and is the most outstanding, kind, generous server we've ever met. Even remembering my mom and sister'sfaces, orders and what we came up here for two months back! Even with my Step-Dad and his sensitive stomach, he can't haveCincinnati Chili so he orders the burgers or something chicken-based. He still says it's pretty good for a little fast foodjoint. If you want to experience Cincinnati Chili the way it's SUPPOSED to be experienced? (No offense Skyline fans.) Come tothis Gold Star in particular. You will NOT be disappointed especially not by their outstanding staff members. 5 stars and noless! Read more
Tried chilli 5 way for first time ever since I moved here 3 years ago and it was very bland not much flavor. I'll try it again... in case it was an off night for them and see what happens. Read more
During a trip home to Ohio for a family emergency, we ate here twice. We had the same server both times and she was very... friendly and engaging. She was the reason we returned to this location! We always love Gold Star when we are in Ohio. Read more
I want a salad instead of fries. No lettuce for salads. So I ordered conveys and fries. Then my daughter wanted shakes. No... shakes. Very disappointed. Read more
Walked a mile to try this place out for lunch, all signage says the restaurant is open, people inside eating and I was met with... a locked door and told no one was allowed in. ??????????????????? Not a good way to treat new customers, so I highly discourageanyone from giving this place the time of day. You never turn away hungry paying customers. Horrible management decisions. Read more
So we usually dine in & I gotta say everytime we get a women named ?robin? I believe? SHES AMAZING, this lady deserves a raise.... She?s so sweet & always is nice to my young baby boy. We were given 1 fork for 4 meals. Had to ask for our drinks because they forgot them. And received no cheese with 2 chili and... cheese spaghetti meals. Chili cheese fries looked half eaten. Tried calling and they are leaving the phone on so people can?tget through. Not closed for 2 more hours but are refusing to answer calls. Read more
I was very disappointed after going through the drive thru on 11/27. I ordered 3 hotdogs with chili ONLY & cheese on the side.... When I got to where I was going, I noticed there was mustard & onions on them as well. I had to throw them away bc I do not eatmustard. Over $14 down the drain & I didn?t eat dinner at all.
