The prices are the cheapest I've ever seen for an ice cream place (they also sell pizza, hoagies, and specials). I got a regular... sized maple sundae for about 2.50 with whipped cream and peanuts each for an additional 50c. The maple flavoring was a generousserving of fresh local Maple syrup. Deets is great place to sit at a picnic table and enjoy a sub or a wedge (sp?) during the summer. Their ice cream is delicious!... And their portion sizes are out of control. Be very careful what size you order or you might be liable to get a half gallon ofice cream, lol! The large portions are not just for the ice cream. Their sandwiches and sides (fries) are also very largeportions. My husband who is 6' 2" only eats a half of a wedge and we share one order of fries and that is plenty. And I ordera baby cone which is a normal sized ice cream cone. My only issue with Deets is their lack of a public bathroom. With littlekids and older folks this can be a real dilemma. To make it worse there are no public rest rooms anywhere near their location. My when family still loves to eat there but we all potty before we leave the house. Read more
Great food and friendly service! Their ice cream cones are extra big (even the small ones).
