I've been here about five times since moving here, and every time the food and Service have been exceptional. I always get a... vegetable plate. The food taste more fresh than other local spots that have homemade sides. I haven't tried the Meat from hereyet, but I will next time I go!! Read more
This place has the WORSE BBQ I have ever eaten! $40.01 for an unsatisfactory meal. The baked beans were sour. They had no sweet... tea. The large potato was two small potatoes with meat and cheese. I had to ask for sour cream and butter. There was no onions,no bacon bits or anything else on it. I had to ask for a lid for my drink. It's a waste of money for the taste and quality ofthe food. We had dinner here a couple days ago and it was good bbq the ribs where good and the smoked sausage was also really good the... rest of our items where also tasty oh and the sweet tea it was on point. If you like bbq and traveling near this spot I wouldrecommend trying them out or if you are a local and had never eaten there hey go by and try them out you shouldn't bedisappointed. Let me start by saying I am from Texas and I know BBQ. Now bar-b-cutie always passed always said I?m going to try this one day,... well today was the day. So let?s roll up our sleeves and dig into this review. No particular order the Mark (brisket, sausage,jalapeño cheese, and an onion ring). For me to say it was 3 stars is me not telling the truth but for the sake of the waitstaff (cashiers) they make that extra star shine. Not pictured was banana pudding, and two Christie cookies. Wife did not enjoythe banana pudding and that is why we got the cookies. Now Christie cookies is a staple in Nashville but I did not see what thebig deal is with the cookies? Maybe I need to pick up a regular cookie and see. All in all it was a nice little spot I know theyalso have breakfast, so maybe one day it will be updated until then decent but didn?t wow me. Food was garbage. Dry and no flavor at all. Super disappointed. Money down the drain. I worked in patient food service at a... hospital in my younger years and their ribs were better. Good things first: the tall kid behind the register was super friendly and helpful. He?s a good worker. The food was pretty good... too, but I just couldn?t enjoy dinner with Qanon Karen blasting on Fox News. Both huge flatscreen TVs was non-stop fearmongering. We asked to change the channel, but they ?lost the remote?. The experience was pretty bad with Tucker Carlson andthen Sean Hannity whining at full volume over dinner. Food was just okay, not worth having to sit through Fox news that's for sure. The gentleman at the counter was nice and asked... the manager to change the channel as we requested considering the drab atmosphere and we were told it was lost or unavailable. No wonder the place was empty with this type of ambiance. No music playing in the background just the TVs blaring Fox News. Read more
Occasionally, I stop in at Bar-B-Cutie for dinner. It's an easy choice, as I'm working out of town. The food has always been... very good and so has the service. All of the standard BBQ items are featured. Personally, I enjoy a two or three meat platterand have never been let down. I highly recommend this restaurant, if you're in the mood for a quick bite.
