Stopped here on a whim because we were craving tacos and tequilas. Saw the guacamole casera and had to have it. BEST DECISION.... Texas margaritas were awesome. The margarona too. Cheese dip with ground beef. Chicken fajitas also good. Everything was fresh.Definitely recommend. Read more
My wife ordered the chicken fajitas. They were probably the most plain tasting I?ve ever had. No seasoning what so ever. I had... the chicken and chorizo with rice and cheese sauce. Not too bad. The restaurant itself was so hot inside, we were both sweatingjust sitting in our booth. Read more
This was my first and last visit to this referred restaurant. Terrible service asked for napkins 3 times , hot sauce 2 times ,... shrimp was overcooked. And most of all the overcharging for 3 margaritas we ordered. We ordered 3 skinny margaritas that were$8.95 each. had to point to what we wanted due to server did not understand what we were asking for. When the bill came therewere 3 charges, for 3 different types of margaritas ! We should have paid 8.95 times 3 but we're instead charged $44.95 for 3different types of margaritas??? Obviously ones we didn't order, including a Texas margarita that was $15.00 ! server didn'tunderstand when trying to explain. So when the manager came over he wanted to argue that we had 20 ounce skinny margaritas forwhich they don't even offer a 20 ounce skinny margarita??? He was more interested in arguing with me, first time customer thanrectifying the obvious mistake to the bill. And still overcharged me at the end. I swear it felt like a scam ... It was aterrible display of customer service that I won't soon forget. Associates that take orders should be able to take an orderwithout there being a serious breakdown in communication. And managers should NOT run off customers! they should do everythingto retain them which failed here badly and sadly ... Read more

El Sombrero was delicious! It?s your typical Mexican place, which means it?s fantastic in my book! I got the mole enchiladas and... they were super good. The chips and salsa are fresh and tasty. They have a great kids menu and lots of unique cocktails. We?llbe back! Read more
Great food! Service was okay, wasn't very busy towards the end of the night on a Tuesday but the servers were occupied... cleaning. Got the El Camino Dip for the first time. It was good but a lot of grease from the meat mixed with the cheese andyou're not able to enjoy the cheese unless you want a chip full of grease. Grande Quesadilla with shrimp was great! Very largeshrimp. Also got an a la carte shredded chicken & pastor Quesadilla. The shredded chicken was okay, but pastor was amazing,Definitely would order again!! Salsa had a nice flavor as well. We have dined at El Sombrero for almost 10 years. Enjoyed the food. Loved the El Presidenta Margaritas. Tasted good with enough... Tequila to know it was an alcohol drink. After the pandemic closure, El Sombrero opened their dining. Since then my food orderis never correct. And the El Margaritas are watery and lack a hint of tequila. Really miss the good Ole days.
