First of all, the food is great but the service is excellent. The manager (I think her name is Lauren?) was funny, friendly, and... very helpful. She and the staff always seem happy even when the restaurant is busy and chaotic. Anyone who has ever worked infood service knows how rare it is to have a happy staff who is also productive. I reserved the room in the back for a small party of 11. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. When we arrived it was... really hot in the room. They brought us an industrial type fan to help cool off the room. The waiter, Bracey P, was reallyfriendly, he made sure we had everything we needed for the set up for the event. When the food was coming out, a waitressspilled a frozen drink on my mother?s back and down the side of my shirt. Both of us had to change our clothes. Maybe myexpectations were too high, but usually the manager comes in and apologizes.They we?re not super busy, the manager just sent usa message that our food was comped. For me, customer service can make or break it. I expected Frank, the manager, to come andapologize, not just send us a message. I recently celebrated a birthday there and the food and atmosphere was amazing.We had a party of 11 so was accomodated in a... private room. The server was very nice but appeared new so we took our time with him.Things went wrong when 2 people in theparty were drenched with a frozen margarita causing them both to change.The manager credited both of their meals as was told viathe server.My only disappointment was that the manager NEVER ONCE acknowledged us or came to the room after the incident.Oneperson in the party went to speak to him and he said" I am aware".This was a very unusual response that left a very badimpression to us all. Food was good but customer service from management was horrible. A member of our dinner party had a drink accidentally spilled... on her by one of the wait staff. This unfortunately caused the member to have to change her clothes. The manager declined tospeak with her and declined to comp her meal. A little customer service goes a long way. The enchiladas norteñas are one of the best Mexican meals I?ve ever had! Highly recommend.
