I had to find out if the hype about this place is true. Indeed . . . It is!!!! This is one hot spot. First, we were told we had... to wait an hour which I didn?t mind. My friend and I talked all of 30 minutes before our table was actually ready. We sat down,and our delightful waitress ?Sarah? greeted us instantly with some warm honey-glazed complementary mini donuts. Mm mmm good! Wecould barely look at the menu as we were enjoying the mini -funnel cake tasting -donuts. I ordered the chicken and waffleswhich were unbelievably tasty. The chicken breast was just as big as the four waffles. I don?t remember what my friend orderedcause I was too busy pounding down my own food. Sarah was by far the best waitress I?ve ever had so far. She was personable andvery knowledgeable of the menu. This was my first and definitely won?t be my last time at this delectable eatery. It isdefinitely worth the drive! Read more
Valiant attempt at Chicken n Waffles, the Waffle was great, Chicken had a great crust, in fact superior. We eat this dish... everywhere and this just didn't hit on flavor for us. The Chicken seemed to have parmesan grated on top or in the batter whichwas strange on the pallet. The homemade Corned Beef Hash was good, but just good. The waitstaff in particular our server wasFANTASTIC, on time and very good. There I a difference in Northern cooking and Southern cooking, perhaps we've been in theSouthern hemisphere to long. Second time at this restaurant was way better than the first. The first time my steak was undercooked and waiter was not... friendly or attentive. The table next to us who arrived after us was done eating before we even got our plates. I didn?t plan onvisiting again but decided to give them a second chance. The next visit I decided to sit at the bar since you tend to get betterservice than sitting at a table. The bartender was nice and my food came out fast but this time i didn?t order any meat. With all the great comments and pictures of Honey Butter Restaurant in Franklin, we thought it be best to check it out, and... we?re glad we did. My wife had chicken and waffles and I had the crispy chicken sandwich with a honey sauce. The portions werehuge and the food was great. The wait staff was awesome and the manager stopped by to see how we were doing. The picturesattached shows how good it was, and will be back for sure. Read more
Definitely worth the wait. Very tasty and if you go to their website you can be placed on a waitlist for a table. Food was... delicious and fresh and they start you off with little fried fritters with honey and cinnamon sugar, which are absolutelydelightful. Food was served efficiently. I had biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon- very flavorful and highly recommend.Eggs were a little runny for over medium, but the rest of the experience was worth it. Boyfriend had the pancakes and ordered aside of crispy breakfast potatoes which were also very tasty. Cute atmosphere and would definitely come back here. Read more
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food. The complimentary, warm, mini-donuts, bathed in cinnamon/honey were a greater... starter! I had the Cali Omelette - fresh ingredients, healthy taste. The diced potatoes were good too. Pancakes were not huge,but tasty. My wife had the biscuits and gravy. Huge portion- rated a 4/5 stars. Fresh OJ was good. Read more
I always stop by to have breakfast when I'm in the area. If you are going to have anything you should at least try the... Loykoumades and the Honey puffs are addicting. You gotta try the Honey Goat! The whipped feta and goat cheese is amazing aswell. I haven't seen a restaurant like this and I love the uniqueness of it. Always treated with kindness and great servicehere.
