Mimosa was a recommendation from a friend. I must say, they did not disappoint! The Morning Jambalaya was a Hit! I thought it... would be spicy but it was very good and flavorful. Great restaurant. Found them thru a Google search for Breakfast. Every person working there that we spoke to was... friendly. Very good breakfast. I had Smoked Pecan Waffles with a side order of eggs and bacon and orange juice. Some of thebest waffles I've ever had. Will definitely go back if passing thru the Milwaukee/Racine area again. Has the classic up north smell and atmosphere! Plenty of options for everyone, and the food hit the spot. Had the breakfast... burger which turned out to be delicious with the lemon bacon potatoes and crepes! This establishment was a great surprise to us considering we haven't had any food due to a pet emergency. My woman chose a... breakfast choice and I wanted a lunch item. I chose a sliced and cut up chicken breast meat on a toasted rye bread with slicedAlvacados. This was such a unique and great sandwich that will not be forgotten. As for my lady's meal it also was a breakfastof tasty explosion. The saddest and serious thing was the restaurant was empty. Abit pricey but the service was as great as thefood. This place is hopping on a weekend brunch time! We had reservations but still had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time... to get seated. A little better planning would be appreciated, but it was totally understandable given how busy they were. Ourserver, Sarah, made up for any misdemeanors. She was happy, pleasant, efficient, prompt, and just so friendly! made us all feelgood and well taken care of and appreciated, despite the longer wait time on the food and seating. Pollo Picante Omelette Alittle bit of a Mexican twist on our favorite brunch food. The little "picante" added a nice kick. Shrimp Omelette Huge piecesof shrimp inside, a beautiful omelette almost like a blanket cover with avocado slices on top. Pretty presentation. Three MeatOmelette Quite yummy, but pretty heavy. I wish there was an option to add a bit of kale or spinach (or some kinda veggie) to adda little layer to the taste. Chicken and waffles Of all our orders, the most meh of the bunch. Waffles looked dry, and chickenwas mediocre. Plus it was chicken breast, not chicken thigh (it says so on the menu). Gotta say, it was definitely a lessheart-clogging option than the southern version, with caramelized waffles topped with fried chicken thighs smothered in sausagegravy. But not as tasty. French toast Gorgeous presentation, with cream and berries and powdered sugar. Friend who had it toldme it wasn't as tasty as it looked. She was happy she was sharing with the shrimp omelette They also have great mimosas... duh.We didn't get any at this visit since we had some religious activity afterwards, but I've had it before and will have it again!
