Food is always hot and fresh. And the staff is always super polite. 10/18 I came back to edit my review. I went last night and... ordered $34 dollars worth of food. They jammed all the food into 1 bag making it impossible to quickly check if everything wasthere. I even asked is that everything and she replied yes. I get home and see that they forgot an item I payed 7 dollars on. Ifit wasn't cold and rainy I would have went back. This has been happening way too often. They use to rock.....not so much now. Go for the drinks. They are 1/2 price right now. The food is subpar for fast food. I was not expecting a lot, but this did not... meet expectations. There are better fast food options really close buy that also have good deals and make better tasting and hotfood. Pros: 1. The mobile app is convenient to use. 2. Not a long for food when you get there and check in. 3. The service wasfriendly. 4. The drinks are cheap right now since they are 1/2 price. 5. The 2 for $5.00 deal is okay for burgers and some otheritems. Cons: 1. Food was lukewarm, at best, when I arrived, which was about 12 minutes after I ordered. 2. The staff does notread the tickets closely. I asked for mayo, the Sonic Special sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, and hot sauce. I received 4 packetsof ketchup that were stuck together w/ syrup and 1 Special Sauce for 6 burgers, 1 large french fries, and 1 large french frieswith cheese. That was disappointing since I ordered to go and needed those condiments. 3. The burgers were really dry. 4. Thefries were not great since they were not warm. 5. 3 stars, but you can't really expect too much with (most) fast food chains I suppose. It's usually on you for choosing to eat... there, same with a Taco Bell or whatever. The Northeast has very few instances of actual legit fast-food chains, like RaisingCane's or Culver's. We had a great Hardee's in NB but we lost 'em, don't know how. Anyways, eating at Sonic for me meansavoiding half the menu, but that's not so bad. Never get burgers and fries in particular, and the chicken is pretty meh too (Istill sometimes order it though), but the drink/shake options remain great, and their cheddar peppers and mozz sticks are alwaysdecent too. The Ultimate Meat and Cheese burrito is also a pretty tasty "breakfasty" fast food burrito with decent value, andthe chili dog/coney options are nice too but value is iffy. Read more
The employees are fantastic. Friendly service with a smile. Never been any issues with any of the employees from the day they... opened. I cannot say the same for the food. Unless something changed in the past year or so. Either I've only had soggy buns orstale buns. Anyone can make a better hot dog or hamburger at home. The soft serve Ice Cream is fine.. I mean, you really can'tmess that up. I've had a few shakes but, meh. I really wanted to like this place. But I can't see me eating from here again anytime soon. Read more
I went to Sonic for a crispy chicken sandwich and got chicken nuggets and fries instead. I took it back to get the chicken... sandwich and I got a miniature chicken on the sandwich! I spent $8.31 on that sandwich! Their food is sloppily made! And theynever have strawberry blasts! They even gave moldy bread/buns! This place is terrible and should be put out of business!! It use to be awesome when they 1st opened up but now guess I over did it because I ordered a Coney island Hot Dog but when I got... home. The bun was molded when I opened the wrapper.
