This restaurant is consistently delicious! The menu doesn't change over the years and I like that about this place. I would... recommend the teriyaki chicken char tips as an appetizer. The crab bisque is amazing and goes well with the baked bread theyserve. My favorite meal is the filet tips oscar. You get a salad or soup with your meal. I love the tomato basil vinaigrette soI always order a salad. The desserts are all delicious. You'll need reservations. It's on the pricey side but worth every penny. Read more

Franklinville Inn is a fairly new favorite of ours, but last night we celebrated my birthday and had the most perfect... experience. The birthday wishes on our way to our table was a great extra touch. Our server, Michael, was sooooo charismatic, kind and attentive. The sour apple martinis are magical and that red pepper cream sauce over crab cakes is to DIE for! I wanteddessert so badly but I could not stop eating my meal and was stuffed. I can’t say enough about how fabulous this restaurantis, and I can’t wait for our next visit. Read more

This is the best restaurant in this entire area. In fact it rivals The Capital grille and I like it better than that. I said... that because I know that other restaurant is pretty top-notch. The service is great the drinks are great and the food is justdynamic. I will be going there a lot and my husband too loves it. The fillet tips teriyaki are the bomb!!!! Read more

I live not too far from the Inn as its reputation is a legend in Gloucester County... I now know why after 7 years living... here. I had a 20oz ribeye that was so tender that it could practically be cut with a fork with a large Baked potato loaded withbutter, bacon and sour cream. The steak was seasoned to perfection with my medium rare as per text book dictation. My wife's SeaScallops with shrimp were delightful, however my steak was interrupting any thoughts of stealing another bite. The service wascommendable and very polite and not intrusive for our anniversary dinner. The desert menu was the best I've seen around witheach one tempting me with the exception of the Key Lime pie which is just a personal preference. Well done, and will NOT waitanother 7 years. Not a single flaw with our meal. Prices are similar to a steakhouse in the city, but they include salads and sides. Steaks were... seasoned perfectly and cooked properly to temp. Left happy and stuffed. Read more

I booked my visit two months in advance so my expectations were naturally high… they didn’t disappoint. Our table was... actually in a separate room with only two other tables which was unusually exclusive. The only issue was that a large party inanother room was a little noisy but they were *exceptionally* loud. Our server Keri was very kind and bagged our leftovers forus. The food was phenomenal. Out of the many restaurants I’ve visited this was the one with the best French Onion soup. Mymother enjoyed her chicken very much and more than the usual place she likes it from. My salmon was very tasty and I was reallyimpressed by the side of spinach as well. For dessert I was so excited to eat the rice pudding as I had never seen thatadvertised before in a place like this, and prepared by the chefs as opposed to servers. It was so good! The selection ofappetizers was kind of boring so we didn’t get one. Total bill was $91 and after tip it was $110. Not a bad price for theexperience. I think that there are less expensive places to go that offer similar experiences, but the setting is truly one of akind. Read more

Really great food. Extremely tasty and the service is exceptional. This place is quaint. It reminds me of the way things use to... be like in the 80's... When you felt safe and going out was ALWAYS A GOOD TIME. Read more
